Having to read 31 books in the year 2023 is inspiring, I don't think I read that much that year. I started to incorporate text-to-speech while reading last week & managed to finish 3 books by the time I posted this comment. You wanna give it a try?

I currently lose focus a lot so text to speech would be annoying because I would have to constantly rewind to be able to understand everything. I also prefer hard copy books. But it sounds fast. One day I may try playing an audio book while reading.

have u ever tried reading ancient books (other than meditations) with wisdom and lessons that still apply today?
for example: the bible or the republic
btw, this might be one of you best videos yet

I have thought about it and plan on it in the future but for now I prefer books that explain things thoroughly. For example, Reality Transurfing explains VERY thoroughly how, why, and when you should control your thoughts. He explains all of that in 750 pages.
*(I am not even sure if this next paragraph is true. I have not read the whole bible so I don't really know what it is like. This could just be my bias/prejudice speaking)*
Versus a book like the bible may just say "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think on these things." I have no idea what this means in the full sense of how the author is trying to convey it. I also don't know why I should do this.
So I figured that I don't have enough wisdom to read these types of books and FULLY understand what they are saying and mean. That's why I like books like Reality Transurfing and Prometheus Rising (yes, I finished it and it is one of the best books I have ever read) so much because they actually tell me "why."
      Also - Thanks.

@@JamesRadzinski i went somewhere and didnt bring my phone either lol.
if you don't feel like you have enough wisdom to understand the bible, there are people online that can try to explain it.
there were some people in history know as the "church fathers" and some of them (if not all of them) wrote their interpretation of the bible.
it might take a long time to read all of it, but you could reads some parts of it every once in a while.

My bad. I forgot to respond!
How was it? (going somewhere without your phone) For me it feels great.
I have thought about reading a book called: "The Book of the 5 Rings" It is about a samurai who won 60+ to the death duels and has his wisdom written in it. I don't think it is ancient but still old.
I have also thought of reading some of the other religious texts as well.
I never heard of the "church fathers" that could be interesting to look into. Have you read any of their work? What do you think about it? For now I am just focused on reading books related to TH-cam and making my videos better.
