Wait are your camps split into 2? Like Hayward and burgess? Also is it only 2 councilors per 8 children in the cabins? Where do all the other councilors sleep? Sorry couple questions haha
Yes there’s two camps. There’s usually 2 counselors for eight campers but there can be more for the older campers. All the other counselors sleep with their cabin. If you’re an older staff you have your own housing but those ppl are usually 21+
For Hayward there’s always 8 campers to 2 counselors! We consider ourselves a COED camp but we sleep and eat on different sides of the lake! We do a lot of activities together 🫶✨

1:4 counsellor to camper ratio for a cabin looks like paradise, at my camp last year it was 1:10 😂

Yeah, overnight with the youngest girls 😂 not heading back there but I'm looking at going to a different one next year
