I bought this 2-4-2 steamer for a fair price. As soon as I saw it I recognized it as the "Mighty Sound Of Steam" locomotive but it doesn't have the sound the tender is empty.
A pretty good deal for $25! That little engine's got a lot of get-up-and-go! Oh, take it from me after 40+ years that thing wouldn't have "Mighty Sound Of Steam" anymore even if it came with it originally, by this time it'd be more like "Mighty Sound Of SCREAM" due to board deterioration. "MSOS" was pretty primitive, trust me! It's highly unlikely something at that price point had "MSOS" to begin with.
