A Varney engine! Now that one's vintage! It may go back as far as the 1930s. If I remember correctly Varney was big in the HO world from the 1930s through the 1950s. An interesting relic! Thanks for bringing us along! Looks like a fun place!

Lionel trains are not scale models.But they are alot of fun to play with.I have 10 sets of lionel trains.I love em❤.I also model CONRAIL in HO scale too.😊

Lots of action going on! Hey, I get kick out those home-made buildings and houses! With their bendy lines and edges they've got a real Doctor Suess look to them!

That's a nice find! A good-looking "torpedo boat" Geep and with those classy C&NW markings! One thing I'd advise is if it's got a battery in it (check your owner's manual) replace the battery with a BCR, long term it's better for the engine. If there's no battery don't worry about it. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Congratulations on 100 subscribers! 100 down, 900 to go. You'll get there! Hey, that MTH Santa Fe starter set was a great deal for $150! That shrunken F3 was made in what MTH called the "Bantam" size, essentially for their series of starter sets that honestly I wish they still made today, there were a real bang for the buck! I've got their Norfolk & Western Class J set, I've had it almost 20 years and it still runs just fine! There's a used train site called Trainz you may want to check for extra passenger cars, if I remember correctly there were typically three add-on cars available for those starter sets so keep your eyes open for them. Thanks for posting!

A pretty good deal for $25! That little engine's got a lot of get-up-and-go! Oh, take it from me after 40+ years that thing wouldn't have "Mighty Sound Of Steam" anymore even if it came with it originally, by this time it'd be more like "Mighty Sound Of SCREAM" due to board deterioration. "MSOS" was pretty primitive, trust me! It's highly unlikely something at that price point had "MSOS" to begin with.

Hey, if you didn't find any Lionels or other O Gauge trains you wanted to bring home that's fine, you NEVER know what's in antique stores or malls if you don't take the time to look. And NEVER say "That place never has anything!" because that'll be the day you miss something really cool, trust me! The wife and I have been at this 50 years! At any rate, the look on your face at 2:25 was priceless! Yeah, you're feelin' it man!

Just found your channel. Cool store tour, I saw some sweet Marx and a nice pre-war Lionel Peacock 253 and Pullmans set. $85 for the 610 or 612 is a bit steep. More nice Lionel around the 10:50 & 13:00 marks.

Good idea with the flowers , spray them with hair spray so they stay together !

Your track power is not uniform, visible jerky F3 motion at slow speeds. Check voltages all around layout, inspect wheels, & contact rollers. Worn motor brushes also a possible cause of jerky motion as it has low spring brush tension. So few cars there is not much load should be real smooth running. Gotta love the post war stuff. Modern stuff not so much.
