    We just got a Bluefire Blue P340 here in the US. So glad we chose it over a Q5. It's so much more fun to drive and way more distinctive than the same old thing everyone else has. The 2021 interior refresh was what sold it.

    Having watched the full review, owning a MK1 fpace and ordered a 2021 this is all over the place. E.g. You can get the option to drop the seats from the boot. Comments about a couple of cases in the boot is also well off, we got 5 full sized cases in ours. Not hating - just more observant from perspective.

    Recently sold my XE 25T R-sport. It was a beautiful car. Just had a single issue (coolant sensor) which was replaced under warranty in my 4 years of ownership. The new F-Pace looks even better with that interior and standard 5 yr warranty. I am hoping to get the SVR version. Bit (probably more...lol) of convincing to do with my other half who is more interested in RR sport.

  • @dicksun512
    @dicksun512 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    cant tell how good it is since facelift but previously if you had sat in the cabin you know it is of lower built quality compare to German brands. Drives and rides pretty good but depending on what engine-level you are going with. I ended up with a glc43, more powerful and cheaper as no need to add any optional pack compare to Jag's long list of options even on its top spec (svr was not available back then but it would have to compare with 63s.
    unless you are a Jag fanboy, you need to sit in and drive GLC, X3 and Q5 and maybe one of the LR of your target powertrain to know which is your pick

    No USB charging ports in the back for a premium SUV at a premium price??? WTF is wrong with some of these premium car brands? To 99.9% of people that is totally unacceptable.

    I've had my F Pace 2.0d R Sport. The car is very nice but let down by inferior quality parts, and after sales service. The car has had rear brake pads and calipers replaced, due to corrosion. This was at 24,000 miles and 2 years old, car now 4 years old 27,000 miles and due for replacement. Plug in hybrid perhaps.

    Petrol 4 cylinders in anything larger than a small hatchback or econo car is just not right. I don't think you tested for a car full of people plus luggage. THEN you will feel how UNmotivated it is. But it's nice to know how special this car is vs the main rivals. good review.

    • @chasingcars
      @chasingcars  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      With modern turbo petrol fours that really isn’t the case. With 365Nm this one has more torque than an old school atmo V6. And it isn’t just Jaguar. Try for yourself sometime, I’m sure they’d let you chuck a whole bunch of stuff in and take it for a test drive. Still, no doubt the sixes are especially strong.
