Ma’am, I just have to disagree with you…. You paid $8 for a lidded, latching Longaberger basket. You totally did NOT pay too much!!!! That’s a score and absolute 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Longaberger basket you picked up would go for around $60-$65 brand new. My sister in law used to sell it and we would go to the headquarters in Ohio where the ginormous basket was. You could stand inside it for pics. There should be a date on the bottom and initials of who hand made it. Every one is hand woven.
She obviously doesn’t know about Longaberger if she thinks $8 is too much lol!
I would have gotten those Longaberger baskets. I was excited seeing them at that price.
The cute basket with the lid is a collector Longaburger baskets are very expensive great find.

Longaberger baskets are collectible and expensive. You got a good deal.
I absolutely loved Raggedy Ann and Andy when I was little . I collected and had everything of them . Girl you took me back to such of a wonderful childhood memory!
I have several Longaberger baskets. I live in Ohio, the office for Longaberger was a big Basket shaped building, I believe they went out of business. they are very expensive new, I have some of the pottery too.
Flipping that bowl and putting the lamp on it was Genius. Great job

I saw you eyeing a deviled eggs tray and I just wanted to let y’all know I was watching a channel a couple days ago and this girl has her own store but she also has a booth I think a couple times a month at the antique mall where she lives and when asked what is the most sought after item she said, without batting an eyelash, deviled eggs platters!!! I was pretty shocked but she says they are getting hard to find and there are some really good ones… I think I actually have three right now myself so I guess I’m on that train 😆 … and my daughter likes collecting the mugs and there really are some cool looking vintage ones out there huh? Stuff like that , anything kitchen… just draws me in… so anyway I just thought I would throw that out there… Love both of your channels! You are my favorite to watch because of your cute little sayings and just all around great attitude! ⭐️🥂🙌🏻

Tish! OMG!! The baskets are Longaberger! Hand woven in Ohio and VERY expensive! I collect them. A total STEAL!! The temptations pottery is sold on QVC and is also great quality & pricey! Girl! I wish I was there to grab!! ❤😂
Girl!! I actually have some temptations pieces myself. I bought two huge sets, one for me and one for my mom, for Christmas one year a few years back like probably at least 10 years ago actually and some got broken and maybe lost in moves I don’t know but I was just watching her on QVC a few months ago wanting to get some more pieces because I love them so much, but I still have a couple of the loaf pans and the little square set of four ones that sit in the iron or metal rack… Anyway yes they are kind of pricey but they are absolutely worth it and such great quality! Go back and get you some Tish! 😂

Those baskets are worth something with their logo and if it’s signed. They are expensive to buy new. I only have one and when I bought it new a long time ago it was close to 80 bucks so I think uou got a good deal

Hi Trish! I love Thrift stores. Love the espresso set! Temptations was line of cute cook and serving ware sold at QVC. Pretty costly!🌸🌸🌸
I think, not for sure, but if you stand the owl iron up, I think you can put recipe cards in it when you bake

Tish, it's fun going to thrift stores. You got some nice things as usual. What's QVC temptations doing in the thrift store. I love Temptations, My kitchen has a lot of it. And i have more chocolate brown things than any other color, then gray and red. I probably would have grabbed a piece or two. I don't need those Garfield glass mugs, but i would have grabbed them. They were in our home growing up.

I'm from Ohio so I'm familiar with Longaberger, you absolutely did not pay too much for that. Those are top quality, handmade items that are very expensive. Always pick them up if you find good ones!Those are designer items lol
Yes, I love thrifting and also rummage sales in my boyfriend's area omg some people put the lowest prices on the best stuff. You scored on some really nice items.

Tish keep your eye out for Longaberger baskets. That was not over priced. I used to sell Longaberger and starting to pick them up again. I got 10 baskets at a garage sale for a dollar each.
It's been quite a while since Goodwill stores in my Southern CA area really hiked prices, and it became obvious they were catering to people buying to resell. Plus they have executives who make huge salaries. I don't really need to be buying things, but I have plenty to donate, and I'm lucky to have an AmVets not too far from me--it benefits and employees veterans. I love to read, and they actually have a separate little room for books at great prices, so I feel good buying them there and donating what I've purchased elsewhere, like at DT.
