Fun fact: the vocal version is featured in the PSP version of NFS Carbon (titled Own the City). That game features a completely different, unrelated story to the one in the main releases. Hard Drivers by Ekstrak in that version of the game also has vocals, unlike the main releases. I was never sure why they didn't use the vocal versions in the main version of Carbon, considering they CLEARLY had the licenses for the songs. Then again, the entire OST is so under-utilized in the main versions that it sometimes made me wonder why they bothered with a licensed OST to begin with, even though Carbon probably has my 3rd favorite licensed OST in the entire series...
Feel The Rush by Melody was also a COMPLETELY different version in Own The City. I wondered why I never remembered the song in the game considering it had been a WHILE since I played the PSP version, and it's because the console version uses a remix of it while the PSP has the original version. I really wish they kept that one on console/PC as well because honestly I think the original just outclasses the remix they used completely lmao
