Nice video, brought back memories…I saw a fair share of those Dodge trucks on farms and truck stops back in the 60’s. My dads friend was a plumber and drove a 69 panel van around to jobs- it was the coolest van I’d seen up until then…
You most certainly are not kidding. I absolutely love that small cab with the Texas size hood on it. It's a shame that they weren't in production that long. Which is making luck more of a part in finding 1.
who to hell is the 1 dislike? What's there to dislike? I mean I am a GM man, but I can appreciate them all. Having always been involved in farming and logging, I've been around a lot of old heavy trucks that were long past their on highway days. My grandfather was a brilliant maker of doodlebugs back when that practice was still common up until the 80's and early 90's, and I've seen many Dodge trucks do things trucks just weren't meant to do and they stood up very well to either being used as skidders and forwarders in the woods, and various farm uses that asked quite a lot of a truck. Dodge made a heck of a good heavy duty truck right from the 3/4 ton pick-up on up through. I'm going to just assume it was an accidental dislike click.
Yeah, you have to wonder, don't you? I've seen that a bunch of times. I've seen plenty of videos where it's hard to understand why anybody would dislike it.
@@Dailydieseldose315 Or, their "reasons" are something I would have never thought about. For example, only about 15 mins. ago, I was watching a video about a WW2 P38 Lightning fighter being put through it's paces at an airshow. There's this music playing gently in the background (added by the poster). It's nice music. Playing gently. Yet, there's all kinds of people in the comments complaining about it; "I want to hear only the engines!" "Good video ruined by music!" I never really gave it much thought, myself. Some people just have to be overly sensitive crybabies, I guess.
Man, what a hell of a show to miss! And I live in Staunton! Great rollout of Dodge, in this modern day it's easy to forget the Big Three all had heavy trucks... But, that's what you're here for. Great video, take care.
I remember when I was a young boy, my dad helped out a buddy of his driving a Dodge cabover sleeper. Man did I wish that was a Peterbilt back then. Lol. I still remember going on that run with him.
There was a special truck that an auto carrier wanted from Dodge with specific specifications. The cab had to sit low with a long hood to accomodate a car carrier over the cab. Dodge did not have this but bought the sheet metal from F.W.D. which made a long nose conv. using the Dodge cab. This sat low as the cab was mount- ed right to the frame. The Dodge name was on the truck but it was act ually an F.W.D. This allowed the tractor to carry a car on the top w/out hitting overpasses. A real predecessor to the Bighorn.

OF ALL OF THE 7 ATHS CONVENTIONS I HAVE ATTENDED THIS IS THE MOST DODGE TRUCK TURN OUT!! I HAVE A BIT OF FAVOR FOR DODGES, MY FIRST STREET ROD WAS BUILT AROUND A 33 DODGE 2 TON CAB!
The all original Dodge is pretty sweet I liked the one that had the orangish red frame with the cool grey and white job What was the model of that truck?
One of those red dodges at the beginning had louvers on its grill where the radiator sits how does it get air with them all closed is it set to open at a certain temperature. Is it operator controlled ? Or was it some sort of debris shield for some special work? It’s at time 1:00

The 70/71 W300 with the dump bed is awesome.
Used to be a food provisioner in Fort Washington Pa called Fox foods? That had those high short nose Dodges with 318s back in the 70s
The dodge big horn with that small cab and huge hood still has to be one of the coolest looking trucks ever
looks like someone customized their truck ...love that look
Reminds me of a Mack Superliner.

Be nice to shove a 12v Detroit in it.
@@jimmychanbers2424 there’s probably one or two somewhere.
I want to know where those Dodge Trucks mud flaps came from!
Last truck sounds good for a slant six.
Thanks all that love these old rigs to keep them going I have a passion for the old trucks to just don't have the money to do them
We're in the same boat!

I think some people just can't help themselves when they find a video with no dislikes.

Dodge trucks were nicely built back in the day, like 1972. Sorry that Dodge stopped making such things. Got the job done right.
Seems like dodge used the same headlights in vans, pickups, and trucks. I love the style.
Wouldn't shock me in the least!
Yes they all shared many components especially the cabs on the truck’s side.
I'm only 15 and I really get into semi and wonder if the guy that own the one hole line would semi one of the big horn that was in the line
Dang so many cool trucks! I should take the c500 ramp truck I am building to one of these events someday!
Check one out. Always a good time!

The paint on that gray and white Dodge is gorgeous
I had a 33 Dodge Bros pickup , i learned to drive on a 63 ,then a 75. Owned a 72, now 92.
I can't believe how square those ol cabbies are lol. The blue one is a legit crackerbox and the orange one is a jack in the box.
Can someone tell me what motor and transmission the C 800 has?

Good to see all those old Dodge's. Thanks :-)
Super cool seeing the old Dodges. Those ol’ girls put their time in too. And the Power Wagon is a legend in its own right.
Love the new commentary keep it up!
I've got some walk throughs of the show coming up. You may change your tune! lol

I like the dump truck
W-500 factory 4 wheel drive. Gotta love i!
Excellent video it's nice to see the beautiful Dodge trucks
OF ALL OF THE 7 ATHS CONVENTIONS I HAVE ATTENDED

Very cool really enjoyed!!!!!! 👍👍👍
Love that gray and orange Dodge with that Detroit diesel in it
Got some real history there!!!!
And the green IH 4300 in the background was very distracting lol
Saw him a truck stop outside of the show. Sounded good.
The blue and white COE was an old factory Chrysler transport
Me encanta la marca Dodge en trucks
I wish Dodge would build a modern Dodge Big Horn class 8 cab and chassis.
The all original Dodge is pretty sweet
I liked the one that had the orangish red frame with the cool grey and white job
What was the model of that truck?
LCF (Low Cab Foward) . C cab for short.
Didn't know about it . Would have lover to be there ..
Great to see trucks looking like they did in the day. Not over restored with the goofy looking huge bumpers and sun visors.
I was hoping to see an L-600 or 700 in this video. They're pretty rare these days.
I'm loving the Dodge Big Rams.
Most of them had no association as “ram” yet. Still just dodge. Pretty weird to think of it that way.
That black dodge looks serious
I just don't know why the guy put super singles on a nice dodge. The allied van lines dodge was awesome.
It’s a shame that someone parked a pos Lexus next to that all original D600

A good many of the old rigs had lovers like this. They were temp controlled..Don,t put your finger in one. Idling they would open and close often.
I took a picture of that first row when I was there on Friday…….12 Dodges and 2 lost studabakers.
As the kids will say " put a Cummins in it" lol
👌👌👍✌😆
I've always had a fondness for the Dodge heavy trucks with a Detroit diesel. The only thing better is a Studebaker heavy truck with a Detroit diesel.
Wish I was there
dude i never knew dodge made big trucks.... i need me one of them
Nice video. Any body looking for a nice 1970 D-500 ? Has only 70,000 miles on it !
Ya
Did you know Dodge frames were all custom drilled?
I love the conventional long nose dodge!
I love old Iron ❤️
EXCELENTE VÍDEO 👌👌👌
Que bellezas de camiomes aqui en venezuela ya no esxisten
Yes they are owned by the same guy but he has twice that many .unreal
Cummins swap for all😬
