Thank you very nice video sir, but i have questions, for me i work in the frequency range between 12-37GHz, so which PIN Diode should i use(what's the value of capacitor, ressistance, inductor)? another thing sir: what's the material of the rectangle of capacitor, ressistance and inductor (pec or FR-4) and there is no a distance between them as shown in your design? thank you
Hello sir.. This video helped me a lot as I am working on reconfigurable antenna. Sir one clarification is required..to switch off the diode can we make all the values zero? Instead modelling off state design of diode? And what kind of feeding been used in the design sir bcz you have not used ground. For microstrip monopole antenna ground is not at required?
Very informative sir. Could you please tell that if an SMD BAP6502115 diode is used, and if I am keeping the total length of strip (C+R+L+C) as 2 mm , then what should be the width of the strip??? Beacause in some datasheets its given as 1.35 mm range while in some its given as 0.7 or 0.8 range??
I am using BAR64-03W pin diode using the same method as stated by you, but i am achieving same bands in both ON and OFF state.I used forward bias values for ON state and reverse values for OFF stated from datasheet. I dont know why it still gives same bands ? Secondly, how can we define the values of blocking capacitor? and how can we estimated that how many DC blocking capacitors are to be used ?
If we use sheet we didn't get any warnings. Yes I am already tried and I got. But I had one dought if we used thick ness of sheet above 0.03 how it is possible. We must be use solids only.
Thx, Excuse me,I still have 2 questions : 1. The value of DC block capacitor, just need to small enough , right? 2.what about Rp ( parallel resisroe , reverse bias resistors ) , how to decide it? Thx again.
By following the same procedure I am making recon Dipole I have placed switch on each side, It shows Boundary Overlap Error. Did you choose Sheet for these four portions or Box? Kindly reply ASAP. Thankyou

Sir, I followed the same procedure to reconfigure a fractal antenna but there was no difference between the ON and OFF states. Where possibly did I go wrong?
Jayendra kumar Sir, since fractals are used for multi band, the resonance frequencies for the ON state are supposed to be at 1.6GHz , 5.2GHz, 7.6GHz, 9.4GHz , and 12GHz . But my antenna only resonated at 9.4GHz for both ON and OFF
In the video, the diodes are modeled for frequency below 6 GHz. Use a pin diode with specifications above 20 GHz (OFF state capacitance should be very small) for your purpose.
sir i am facing same problem that in ON and OFF state the result is same. So is it needed to unite all strips of diode ? and also is it needed to unite the diode to patch and slot to be connected to patch ? Please sir help me.
The dimensions will depend on the actual components size. First of all, you select the required diodes and capacitors, and accordingly, you decide the dimensions. Typically, keep separations of 2mm and sheets length of 0.5mm.
Thank you very much. it was really helpful. For varactor diode , is the same if we want to insert in the structure? I mean we have to use strips?
Jayendra nice tutorial by the wa, it was very helpful. But i have a little question... how do i put a pin diode in parasitic element?
s how

Sir how to produce a reconfigurable antenna using varactor.. can you upload a video...
sir,How is the switching of pin diode done in practice after fabrication?
please can you provide a video for the practical soldering of the pin diode before measurement?
what dimensions of strip should I select , I am designing an antenna at 5 GHz frequency
If we use sheet we didn't get any warnings. Yes I am already tried and I got. But I had one dought if we used thick ness of sheet above 0.03 how it is possible. We must be use solids only.
How can we practically give DC voltage to the pin diode to switch it.
Sir, it was very helpful. Heartiest thanks .
Please for to show how dc bias lines affect antenna performance?
Hi , I need more details concerning the excitation
Thank you so much for a detailed explanation. I really enjoy your video. seems I gain more understanding on this reconfigurable antenna making. (Y)
Sir, pls explain how excitation and feed is assign in this antenna.
Please can you share the video on how to use the pin diode in CST?
sir how did you give the DC voltage? can anyone please explain
Will you please upload the design of rectangular micro strip antenna with EBG structure in cst?
?
Excuse me ,Could you teach me how did you calculate your equal lumed element values (Both R1,L,C of state ON & OFF ) , Thx a lot.
Based on the operating frequency, you select a pin diode. You can get the lumped elements value from the technical datasheet of that particular diode.
If the frequency which is mentioned by datasheet is 1MHz but my operated frequency is 2.4GHz,how should I transform?
The same you can use. Say NXP BAP65-02 pin diode: Cd=0.9 pF at Vr=1v, Rd=0.9 Ohm at If=5mA and Ls=0.6 nH
Thx, Excuse me,I still have 2 questions :
1. The value of DC block capacitor, just need to small enough , right?
2.what about Rp ( parallel resisroe , reverse bias resistors ) , how to decide it?
Thx again.
hello sir, i want to calculate lumped port element values at 50Ghz, can you please help me ?

It is a sheet.
@@Jayendra854330 sir do you have manufacturer model of switch with biasing.
How do you give DC voltage to diode?
Thank you so much sir. It will help me a lot. Thanks again
Very helpfull sir,, thank you sir
Can u please provide help in metamaterials patch antenna....
sir
how to achieve radiation pattern reconfigurability??
how can we use the strips
Which Basic Antenna Did You Use to Design This antenna?
It is just a microstrip line integrated with pin diode RF switches.
Thank you for this video. It is very helpful.

Sir, which values to give for an operating frequency of 50ghz ?
sir what is value of C for frequency >6 GHz.
SIR WHICH DIODE WE CAN USE FOR FREQUENCIES FROM 5GHZ TO 12 GHZ ?
You can use SMD pin diodes of the suitable frequency range.
sir how can we simulate a EBG structure with varactor diode and capacitor in HFSS
Irrespective of the antenna/EBG/SRR/FSS structure, the procedure of modeling a diode in HFSS is same.
Thank you sir
how to design switch in reconfigurable antenna
I want to explain the way a antenna PIFA in CST
Thanks a ton sir!!! It is very helpful :)
sir, can u share the dimensions of above design..
sir or madam ,can anybody share video for modelling of varactor diode in HFSS.
sir i am facing same problem that in ON and OFF state the result is same. So is it needed to unite all strips of diode ? and also is it needed to unite the diode to patch and slot to be connected to patch ? Please sir help me.
Do not unite structures but they should touch each other.
should they touch to each other and also to patch ? i will be thankful to you sir
Yes

Hello, can you share your design file with me?
