Go to project manager Results> Create Far field Reports> 3 D polar plot Make sure you have enabled far field set up. Project manager (Radiation> Far field setup>infinite sphere)

But after so many attempts, I am no where. I designed atleast 35 metamaterials antenna, but not able to understand what dimensions I chose, so that required results are obtain. Please help.
Let me answer one by one. Dispersion diagram is Beta by K0 (or Freq) plot. Next, the question of unit cell, I am not sure it is possible in HFSS, But in CST it is very easy to design. For that you may see cst manual. For now, in HFSS can try port de-embedding. Hope you got my point. For your next question like how to find input impedance, you follow manual or rectangular plot to plot the same or use some formulation to obtain this. It depends on operational frequency. There is no such strict rule. Goal is electrical short circuit. It should be much much lesser than operating wavelength. For X band 1 mm to 0.3 mm is acceptable. If you increase the frequency let say, 100 GHz, instead of via very thin side wall plating is suggested. Note that due to via diameter effective width of wave guide varies as well as cut-off frequency.

Make sure port and radiation box just touched each other. Your probable error due to geometrical dimensions, I will suggest you take all dimension in the form of Variable that reduces this type of error. :[error] Port refinement, process hf3d error: Port 2 is assigned to an internal face. I had tried but it's of no use. Like just seeing and copying a video doesn't give u any idea . I am an M.Tech student of 3rd sem and I am working on SIW but these tutorials are only beneficial for those who know some basics of hfss
