I have an f11 and the fan has been coming on and off no matter what buttons are pressed. The fan will also stay on even with the car turned off! Great info on this issue btw. 👍
I have a 2016 f10, the hvac used to work on all speeds. However, now of i put it on high or 1 notch before high, the fan stops blowing. Would that be the fan resistor?
Hello, Had a similar issue after jumped the car blower fan stop working.f10 520d 2015 i checked all fuses are ok replaced the rezistor controller nothing no power to brown and red cables at all.what should i do?
Hi, I had the same issue and after changing the blowing motor and regulator it was working for 1 day and then stopped working again… Any idea why it stopped working? I’ve checked all the fuses and all looks good… Thanks
I hope you can help me with my problem, I have just replaced my blower motor on my bmw 520 d 2011, The blower just stopped working so bought a new Mahl original blower, fitted it and now its working but not blowing any air to the vents, i think it maybe turning the wrong direction as it sounds different than before but the supply can only go one way as in the plug for the motor, really confused as to what could be wrong, any advice would be a big help, Regards Neil
Hi Sir, I have tried to change the blower motor resistor as the fan is working fine when I give power from outside, unfortunately, there is no power output to the fan when change the new resistor. No power output from the ground wire of the resistor. Could you please suggest to me what would be the issue?
My fan started playing up a couple of weeks ago, I think probably best to switch it off until I can run the tests you suggested. Thanks for your video.
