@KroesGaming Hey, how do you think about Devastation Evoker in TWW so far, especially after the aminosity change? Because I hear a lot of people complaining about that, but I think it's not that bad? Would love your opinion on this! And really well done video I must say :)
Honestly, it's not gonna change how I feel about playing Evoker, since I'm more about "core playstyle", than "how much dps they can pump". 🙂 The change to aminosity, can't possible be done, without something else in mind to replace it. And that will most likely be reflected in our hero talents, seeing how much extra damage we are getting using Disintegrate. I see it more or less just as a "focus change" to how we go about our damage, and my personal opinion, is that some people can tend to get too hung up on a certain playstyle, to where they can't see the forest for the trees. An even better change, would have been to alter how our mastery works, so people wouldn't get so upset about aminosity. 🙂
@@KroesGaming That's a very good insight I think and I agree. I like the playstyle a lot, even if it's not the deepest in terms of complexity. And you're totally right about some player (or a lot of them) see one little change to their main spec and switch in an instant, they just have no spec loyalty haha. What do you think would a change to our mastery look like?
@@KroesGaming I mean even the class guide Preheat (on WOWHEAD) immediately said that this aminosity change is enough for him to switch to fire mage, which I find very strange...
@@jonoxis If I remember correctly, he said that he was going to swap, because "the last intelligent gameplay was being removed from Evoker". So because aminosity was the only mechanic in Dev Evoker that required a bit of thinking, it is now "too simple" for him to enjoy it. So it's more about "how complex" the spec is. 🙂 From my understanding at least, when it comes to Preheat. Which to be fair... Dev Evoker IS an EXTREMELY simple spec to play hehe, even before the aminosity changes. But again, it's all personal preference. We don't all enjoy the same playstyles, and some players might find Evoker too simple. The important thing here is to ask yourself, if YOU think the aminosity change, will impact YOUR opinion on Evoker. 👍 If you still enjoy Evoker, then play it. 🙂
@@KroesGaming Yes, I think that's about it, I still find it a bit weird... But ok. And you're absolutely right, I just get so easily influenced by others opinions... So you're going to play Dev Evoker in TWW (Main maybe)?
hey man! absolutely flawlessly perfect video. thank you so so much. trying to get into evoker and this surely helps! can you please share your transmog because you look amazing?
Saying that charging your empowered spells doesn't increase damage is false by a long shot. If you have more targets with eternity then empowering it will increase your damage output. If your target has near full health then a full charge fire breath will do significantly more damage than a lessor charge because of your mastery. Putting a dot on a target which will tick for less damage as the targets health drops is much less damage than a high amount of full mastery damage.
That's true yes 🙂 If using empowered spells without using Dragonrage, then damage will diminish the further down in health the enemy has. So while the tooltip damage description isn't different, situationally, there is a difference in damage.
Thank you so much for all this very detailed information. So helpful that I've written it all down. As a 70 year old granny, I struggled on my evoker today lol.

Hello, amazing video! How do I get a layout for spells like yours? I paid to level up to 70, and I have two rows of spells.
The change to aminosity, can't possible be done, without something else in mind to replace it.
Would you mind sharing your UI addons/setup? Your screen looks very fluid!
Cheers!
Good guild good work subbed
Handsome!
😘
hey man! absolutely flawlessly perfect video. thank you so so much. trying to get into evoker and this surely helps!
can you please share your transmog because you look amazing?
Thank you 😊 And sure, here you go!

If only Dragon Rage wasn't a two minute CD.
I wish they would fix the dragonrage CD since they put a cap on its use extension.
Could you list your mog please :)
‘Buffet’ is pronounced Buff-it when not in the context of eating. English language adventures. 😋
Timestamps would be huge
Could you provide a new importstring? It gives an error. Watching your vid as i am trying to figure out if Evoker is my main :P
edit 5 seconds later you said it not possible lol
hey can you put that healing macro you talked about in the chat?
the import code doesn't work :(
I know PvP needs a lot of buttons. But please don't tell me we need THAT many buttons
Wow. The proc ratio is horrible huh? Lol
