Thanks for doing these videos. After watching you work it inspired me to change the clutch on my Audi S3 8V. It took a while but it was worth it. Look after yourself.
God bless you hope you had a great Easter weekend. Stay calm and relaxed while working and everything will fall into place. That’s how I work but the trying times can always stress you out lol!
One of the thing I don't like when repairing my car is when it is raining and my tools got wet. I hate it. if it is summer is another story but sometimes u can get sick from bad weather.
Thank you Kevin for this weeks lineup of clutch replacements. Tickled my spine a lot when that jack started to go down a bit. Seems like you have had bad luck regarding these jacks latly. I hope the weather gets a LT better next week, rain really gets in everywhere no matter what clothes used. Wish I could have hold a tarp over your workarea when you did that transporter. Hope you and your family had the best easter possible. Regards from Sweden.
@@WMCS Had som older jacks that worked great, changed to Bacho and had issues from start with them not holding pressure. Had to open the valve and pump a few times to release air from the hydraulic. Found out after a while that the factory didnt fill the cylinder enough. Opend the fillport and filled them up with hydraulic fluid and they worked fine after that. Perhaps same issue for you?
G’day Kevin greetings from Tasmanian Australia 🇦🇺. It’s great to see you again for some reason I thought that you weren’t on TH-cam., I was scrolling around and found your channel. I have subscribed I used to get enjoyment watching you putting in these clutches ect, anyway good to see you again kind regards John
Full send bro 😏 🤙never lift mobbin deep 🙌 happy Easter to you and your family if you celebrate ty for the video also bro editing do you like edit a video same day you finish the job seems like a lot of editing 😮
I've noticed that over the last few weeks you seem to be getting more of the little 3cyl Toyotas, Citroëns Peugeots etc? coming in, is this because they are becoming popular with learner drivers who are not as kind on the clutches as more experienced drivers ?
I'm on a Bahco one at moment..been ok ..lots of use on even rocky terrain and so far so good ..Had a blackhawk one that done 20 years in the UK...then a few just junk that would be scrap after a year or so..

Hi What if the axle shaft rubber is broken, do you go to the store and replace it, or is there a job left for the owner? I'm asking because I think the rubber is often broken.
Important not to get distracted or deviate from purpose. In this instance I’m contracted to do one thing and one thing alone. That is to replace a clutch.
Hello, I have a problem with my old Seat Leon 1.9 TDI. I replaced the clutch. Shifting and pedal feel are perfect. But when I press the accelerator fully, the clutch slips. Has this ever happened to you? What can be done about it? Thanks for your response.
This is insane! The amount of crap you have to remove before getting to the clutch! Remind me to never buy a Citroen. Update: I only just realised this is a Toyota! Which is potentially the only brand I was willing to buy :(
Jeez, brother, I hope this job pays you plenty... As if doing this without a proper lifting equipment, laying on your back, is not enough, you are doing it outside, in bad weather and while FILMING IT at the same time from different angles. To me, this should pay at very least $300/hour. And even then I won't be doing it at my age, I just wouldn't last long in that kind of hell 😞 With all the respect and admiration for your work, I would nevertheless suggest moving towards a proper repair shop. With all the following from YT and some diversification of your services it should not be a problem. I've done some mobile work myself in the past, and I will never go back to it. It will never be financially viable on these depreciating low-cost assets (which cars really are) if charged commensurate with your effort. If the economy in your location makes it unprofitable to run an automotive repair shop, you might consider moving elsewhere (or changing an occupation). I am not criticizing you in any way, you are an amazing, hard-working, productive man. Only it breaks my heart to see someone working THAT hard. Unless you are a millionaire by now.

It’s the third one now in a month. Not sure what’s wrong with SEALEY Jacks. They used to be really good.

Hi Kevin, a tarp over the front of the vehicle wouldn't help you at least with the leaks on rainy days. happy Easter everyone...
I’ve been thinking more and more about something practical just to take the edge off a bit
You can get some decent pop up gazebos now
Toujours Génial ! From France! I like your orange tools (Milwaukee?) very strong! Happy Easter

I’ve got more next week… things comes in pattern in life. It’s important to understand the pattern and catch it. I kinda look for them little nuggets.

I think that’s a great suggestion.
I will take that in board and start putting up actual repair time.
