I was stuck in second process. That is when I installed WhatsApp in iPhone and logged in using the same number it said “problem while moving chat” that too at 40%. And there were 2 options either skip or retry. Retry didn’t work. When I reinstalled WhatsApp, old chats were missing.
I reset my iPhone and logged in again in android. And all data was as it is. I basically restarted the process. Made sure both phones are connected to same WiFi. And it worked the next time.

Jab aap reset karoge to sabhi kuch delete ho jayega, par gmail, Google drive inka data server me rahta hai to email aur cloud ka data delete nahi hoga. Agar aapko apna data secure rakhna hai to before reset you can take backup in itunes.

@@sakshisingh7974 sometimes it took lot of time depends on how much data you have in android mobile. If it is not forwarding and stuck, you need to start process again. Long press power button on iphone to restart and again you have to connect android to iphone using move to ios.
actually whatsapp transfer wifi se hota hai par isme intetnet use nahi hota. You can use iphone hotspot or also used wifi router for transfer. But wifi router may be slow.

it means chats not transferred android to iphone properly. you need to again login in android whatsapp and try again to transfer in iphone after reset. Otherwise you can use wutsapper a paid app for transfer.

It took 2 attempts do create a backup, It was stuck for 25mins in "Preparing ..0%, Getting data for backup" In 2nd attempt it got successful in 15 mins. WhatsApp call history nahi aayegi I have also mentioned in the video. Latest video un logo ke liye hai jo apna iphone pahle se use kar rahe hain aur uska data reset process me loss karna nahi chahte. If your phone is new you can transfer whatsapp and use your phone.

WhatsApp backup android me google drive se hota hai aur iphone me icloud drive se. Once you login in iphone their backup and restore will be done from icloud drive in iphone not from Google drive. you can view existing chats in android by logging again but the chats come during that period will not come on android.

please read my pinned comment, you need to first take encrypted itune backup, now using move to ios transfer whatsapp only, upload chat backup to icloud drive using WhatsApp app. Now again reset phone restore from itune backup. Now delete whatsapp, again install from app store, when option come restore from cloud, restore all messages.

When we enter code shown on iphone to move to ios app in android it is automatically connected. If you manually connect hotspot may be it asked password.

Tried this method.. almost 98% completed in iOS and suddenly it gets closed. When i open WhatsApp in iphone again it shows "some error occcurred".. tried 2-3 times again and same issue. Could you pls help. Really stuck
try again after restarting both phone, disable battery optimisation for whatsapp and move to ios app. Disable auto lock on android and try. one option that may work you need a another android mobile, add google account, install whatsapp, restore from Google drive, than transfer using move to ios.
It kept failing. Atlast had to ignore and then one month old data is missing after the restore including chats and media's. Not sure what was the issue.. had to proceed losing one month old data..

What was your size of Whatsapp data? And how long it took to prepare the transfer?

transfer is done in offline no internet required during transfer. This is a peer to peer wifi local network.

After the transfer was completed i logged in on my whatsapp account with the same number but im not getting the "Move chats from Android" option, it's showing restore backup from icloud and no backup found, please help.
If everything goes as per video it should work, you can again try by resetting iphone.

Hi Sir, thanks for the information. I transferred my whatsapp from Oneplus6 to iphone13. It took 2 attempts do create a backup, It was stuck for 25mins in "Preparing ..0%, Getting data for backup" In 2nd attempt it got successful in 15 mins.
In iphone I have to download whatsapp and restore chat , took around 4-5mins.

WhatsApp call history nahi aayegi I have also mentioned in the video.
Latest video un logo ke liye hai jo apna iphone pahle se use kar rahe hain aur uska data reset process me loss karna nahi chahte. If your phone is new you can transfer whatsapp and use your phone.

during data transfer using move to ios you can select that file folder. It will transferred to iphone files, form there you can copy to photos folder using save image option by select all photos.

WhatsApp backup android me google drive se hota hai aur iphone me icloud drive se.
Once you login in iphone their backup and restore will be done from icloud drive in iphone not from Google drive.
you can view existing chats in android by logging again but the chats come during that period will not come on android.
move to ios transfer does not use internet only offline chats transfer android to iphone.

please read my pinned comment, you need to first take encrypted itune backup, now using move to ios transfer whatsapp only, upload chat backup to icloud drive using WhatsApp app.
Now again reset phone restore from itune backup. Now delete whatsapp, again install from app store, when option come restore from cloud, restore all messages.
whatsapp is not appearing in the list whose data is to be transferred to Iphone. i have tried this on multiple android phones, even used old "move to IOS" version but all in vain. need guidance.

Those who want to transfer wahtsapp if they have already setup their iPhone, I have one solution for this
1. first take full encrypted backup in itunes
2. Now reset the iphone and transfer only whatsapp using move to ios
3. In iphone upload whatsapp backup in icloud drive using chat backup in WhatsApp app.
4. Reset iphone and restore using itunes taken earlier
5. Now install whatsapp login with mobile and restore whatsapp backup uaing icloud.

When we enter code shown on iphone to move to ios app in android it is automatically connected. If you manually connect hotspot may be it asked password.

You need an android mobile of your friend or relatives.

Generally it not asking for password, you can try to start the process again by restarting both phones.

one option that may work you need a another android mobile, add google account, install whatsapp, restore from Google drive, than transfer using move to ios.
if nothing works you can use wutsapper app to transfer data.
It kept failing. Atlast had to ignore and then one month old data is missing after the restore including chats and media's. Not sure what was the issue.. had to proceed losing one month old data..
