Thanks a lot. I watched your video last night and did exactly what you recommended. I got the exact response from my mortgage company. They told me my mortgage was sent to an underwriter yesterday. Is that a good news ? I hope to hear your response. Once again, thanks for your great and timely advice. I have subscribed to your channel as well.
Hi Kwasi! That's awesome! Yes, it is great that they sent it to an underwriter - that means it is through the initial stages and with the decision maker. Call repeatedly over the next 30-days and make sure that it is "still with the underwriters" and that they aren't requesting anything further. It sounds like you did everything perfectly! Just make sure you continue to follow up regularly to make sure nothing falls apart on their end until you have your decision back. Good luck!
We have a Freddie Mac loan and were A few month behind before started the Covid Forbearance, and are now transitioning out of Covid forbearance and requested a deferment. We received a letter saying we do not qualify for a Streamline Modification and a full financial evaluation is necessary for you to be considered for additional mortgage assistance. Will we be disqualified, because we were two months behind?
Hello! Since you were behind prior to COVID, you won't quality for the streamlined programs but that doesn't mean you won't qualify for the regular loss mitigation options. You will be submitted an application and the bank will get to verify your income as part of the process.
Thank you!
Thank you...
