I’ve just started Iracing a little over a month ago and I’m loving dirt oval. I have no racing knowledge and this video has helped me immensely! Good stuff!
@@kneebon5 yeah I'm trying to run the ump, I feel like I do fine in public lobbies, I'm usually top six but that's probably because I'm around people with similar irating. Joined a league and these guys are consistently pulling away from me. Not at a crazy Pace but still pulling away from me. I have a feeling it has a lot to do with throttle control.

What do you mean when you say diamond the corner?
apex twice entry and exit while sliding up to the middle center of the corner. Williams Grove is one that does this early.

Not really, it is but the slick is not as bad

Ive lost all speed on dirt, seems like keeping things straight is a bigger factor now

yeah, there is a lot to be gained knowing when too far is too far, i usually under drive it trying to keep slip out of it
