Everyone knows that I tend to main Hunter in Trials of Osiris, especially when helping carry people to the Lighthouse/Flawless. However, in Lightfall, the Solar Warlock subclass has been made even stronger by certain artifact mods and I really good see myself using this more... Enjoy!

Control input has nothing to do with matchmaking lmao. He is in pc lobbies, but he was pulling 3 stacks on stream and required them to be below a 1.0 Kd to get their lobbies. He doesn’t frag this much without farming low sbmm lobbies

If you direct hit someone with a firebolt they'll ignite. The impact of the firebolt does 40 scorch then the nade tag itself finishes the job

I only ever played warlock all the way from d1 until season of the splicer when I picked up hunter. It’s neutral game was just so good for PvP, but lately it’s felt like it’s been lacking. Literally just started maining warlock again myself and MAN it is fun!

I was a Titan main for most of Witch Queen and when Arc 3.0 came out I felt unstoppable, but as they slowly started nerfing Titan I decided for Lightfall I wanted to be a Solar Warlock main and OMG it was the best decision ever lmao! Not only is it META for the new Raid but it’s so good in PvP too. I cleared Contest Mode Raid in 6hrs and I played to a 3.0 KD the first weekend of Trials

Double nade launchers on warlock with reign of fire and Icarus dash double firebolts.
I really think warlocks being the most underplayed class has to do with the fact that it’s the hardest class to master in PvP. So many top PvP players play warlock but that middle tier skill base of players (1.0-1.8 KD) is dominated by hunters and titans. Most ppl would rather take the ease of use from hunter/titans and I’m all for it bc it draws less attention to how strong ophidians is.
It's the easiest class lol. Cuz you have auto targeting nades and melee that burn over time. You have a rift to heal or icarus dash. Lol what a joke. So much stronger than hunters. Literally beats everything but a good titan.
Imagine thinking warlock is the hardest class to use in PvP.

Hunter may be the high mobility zippity around the map class but warlock hands down has the best movement in the game. once mastered it feels unstoppable
Let's be honest, Hunter dodge is the every man's expert Warlock movement
@@dictatorjames7033 no its not. Your dodge goes 2m. And is useless in the air. Warlock dodge can be combined into ridiculously fast bunny hops that cover more distance every 4s than most hunters can cover with eager edge sword (without shatterskate which we beat with wellskate anyway)
@@dictatorjames7033 h qnd let's get into cooldowns lol. Warlock is flat 4s cooldown. Hunter you have to build into it. And its still nowhere near as fast of q cooldown even if you build into it entirely. There is no comparison lol

Setting Icarus dash to a single press will make movement easier and faster, jumping immediately before dashing makes you get a massive speed boost
Yes! I changed my controls as soon as they were mappable. Makes contoler movement and skating incredible when playing claw.

Just so everyone knows, Jake intentionally matches low kd players by inviting "under a 1.0 kd" only players from his chat to be on his team. This allows Jake to slay lobbies in IB. Take these "highlights" with a grain of salt.
bungo, class diversity is important, also bungo, lets give warlocks a dodge and wormhusk and titans can have 2 dodges 1 of which has infinite uses, also we know hunters are the mobile class but we think it would be cool if titans and warlock could push map control before anyone else as well as fly across the map at mock 10 so no one can out run them, oh and we are nerfing stompees into the ground the only exotic hunters have that put them on part with other classes movement speed. sorry just my little rant bungo is a dog shit compony when it comes to knowing what to change and not change so.

I got so confused after the first three kills expecting the round to end, oblivious to the fact that it was not trials. I'm just so used to only seeing GJ trials gameplay.

Yeah, I’m normally a titan main but I got tired of spamming immortal pks so I switch back to my lock w 120 and cloudstrike and it feels crazy good
So many players don't know that wells can be killed though. I've seen teammates legit run when warlocks well
the problem isn't exactly that people don't know wells can be killed, it's usually you have to put yourself in an unfavorable position to kill it. once 3 or even 2 people are in the well if you don't have a super to deal with it, best option is to just avoid it and rotate somewhere else. in the case of like trials you kinda just... hope you can build something up fast enough to just delete the well.
That's because the sword has an obnoxious amount of health, as well as you have to put yourself in a position where you're just going to die in 0.3 seconds. No point.
My favorite thing is fighting low resil warlocks who pop well and just stand there like they’re invincible, meanwhile I’m just training my sniper on their head and laughing
Idk what warlocks you’re fighting that just let you peek them in a well but I’d sure like to meet them.
@terrathewise2383 no warlock "lets" anyone peek. I've just shot first to kill the well, then 2 to three players who were in a well. It's happened a few times so figured I'd see what others had to say
Try using the Cry Mutiny with that build, it also adds stacks of scorched

@terrathewise2383 ophidians haven't been changed in forever. They hardly seem to care honestly. Also for what it's worth as someone who only used ophidians on warlock until recently. You will get way more melee whiffs with ophidians than without. Atleast on controller. It has thrown so many winnable rounds for me
@@TerraTheWise I don't think so,it is one of only 2½ PvP exos on that class,the other being running slightly faster and reload hawkmoon cause u don't need it boots and the helmet that u need if u want to play blink

@@GK-bt6fr on the warlock. If you combine the double melee exotic with the season artifact, you can have two melees and grenades. Then with the right aspects and fragments you can tag people with your fire bolts from 15 meters away and throw a melee at them and they explode

You should try fusion rifle and the warlock boots that makes you radiant eveytime you get a fusion kill and reload ALL your weapons After icarus dash… pair it with thorn and firebolt, ull be unstopabble
Yeah, my favorite thing that budgie did is consistently nerf Hunter Dodge, but at the same time give warlocks and Titans a better dodge that breaks aim, assist, and has better movement than hunters. Bungie is absolutely the best!
