Gotta say Fritz, I took your advice and scored some vees and infantry from Death Ray a while back and...well, I think I like Death Ray better than my old metals! They're easier to prep and paint, look sweet, and weigh about the same as my kickstarter plastics. Good call, amigo!

Here's a tactica I kinda want to see, one on the tankiest Assault mech of them all: The Great turtle. Imo, it's one of those designs, where if it had a few changes done to it, It would go from being a bit of a meme, to a monsterous threat
Another option to run those vtol's as for Clan players is the Donar or Balac. More expensive than a warrior, but you do get some better guns and armor.
Does someone do a breakdown on what deathray's models are proxies for? A few are really obvious, but a few, I can't figure out what to use them for as stand ins.
I'd like to see if anyone has made a list of all of their miniatures and matched each one up with which Battletech units they're supposed to look like. I can recognize some of them but there are some that I just can't place.
@@Teramyr fire hawk & Spectre ASFs = Inner Sphere "Corsair" fighters. Nabile vtol = Skadi (late Jihad era Lyran/Jade Falcon attack scout) (I own 4 of em; they look badass and scale really well, I might add). Maverick = Clan Anhur (I think) Vesper = Warrior H-series (I think). (Bought a few of these too; they scale well as heavy lift helos). Condor = Karnov (no surprise there)
Don’t get an srm carrier. Don’t get a warrior. Get a cavalry vtol. SRM spam and movement that will keep you from getting killed. Load with infernos for killing vehicles and infantry
What are the Mech from that website proxies for? The mechs look nice, but I dont think they're named what the website lists. Im a beginner in BT so apologies for the simple quesiton.
Assault mechs even hate SRM carriers. 60 missiles? Sounds like the poor sod on the receiving end will be making a piloting check or two. Four of them? Clans go 😖

I had hoped they had a Hadur facsimile, but no dice. They DO have a Skadi facsimile which is AWESOME.

I wonder what a LRM carnage list would look like. 4 Locusts or Spiders and LRM carriers at 5-6k BV.

`Each to their own of course but compared to mechsd themselves, tanks are pretty dull. For me they lack the personality of a mech.
