  • You must "Align the body properly. If your "Structure" is weak your body will leak power. How to check the bodies alignment and structure are clearly demonstrated.

I was told there was a place where the elbow was considered fully extended but not locked open and that was the correct extension of a vertical punch (wing chun) for a reference. Are you saying the punch should completely extend for impact and not just training? Thank you for this series 🙏 truly exceptional

I see them. Unfortunately, many channels don’t respond to comments for some reason, but your comments are definitely visible

Hello, you mentioned sanchin. I recently learned about this master, Yukio Nishida:

He has an internal practice around the sanchin form that he developed from combining elements of Chinese martial arts, Aiki practices, and Okinawan Karate. I believe this master was at one time the head of Kyokushin before starting his own institute.

Michael, you are right about san jin. Have you ever read the 3 volumes of "Warriors of Stillness" by Jan Diepersloot? Those were the books that really propelled my internal martial arts journey. I think you might really enjoy them, and you will find many of the principles you discussed in this video there. There is also a part in the 2nd book where he goes through the history of the formation of eastern martial arts, and san jin factors in.

Excellent books. They helped me a lot as well. They certainly don’t get enough praise. The graphics are a little outdated, but clear nonetheless
