Great to see someone targeting conger in the mersey, me and my mate were at brunswick Dock same night thickest fog I've seen for years we had a few whiting then I had 6lb thornie then my mate had one of 10lb on whole squid ,good luck with the next session rich 👍
Good result over at Brunswick. The main problem with the Conger in the Mersey is they seem to have a very short feeding on each high and low at slack water.
Hi Mark...first cast I usually check after about 20 mins to guage crab activity. Based on what I see this will determine how long the bait stays out and how big a bait. More crabs = less time and bigger baits. If crabs are quiet..then can leave out for 40 mins to an hour before putting fresh ones out.
Target achieved tight lines Rich
