Obviously it was frustrating but it was so much more exciting that they didn't take it further. Something to look forward to in future seasons hopefully
And it feels worse when you realize that the real Lenny Bruce would go on to have a short troubled life before finally dying of OD. If Mrs. Maisel was inspired from a true story, I'm happy they stayed friends so he could be, as Kirby put it, her "fairy-godmother" and not just a heartbreaking memory from the past.
This was a lovely interview. Candid but something that the fans would love to ask. Good insights as well. Thanks for asking if he’s coming back for s4. Let’s cross our fingers!!!

Their look in the pub is so intense, magical, sexy, bewitching... Rachel doesn't want the 2 characters to have a love story together, I understand, but what a shame! I hope that the writers will change their mind...
That scene in which Abe and Lenny get arrested did not happen at the Gaslight. Lenny had made it clear that he'd gotten beyond playing venues like the Gaslight by that time.
This interviewer has terrible sound and poor interviewing skills. Stop fan-girling and ask more interesting questions! But he’s also a very self impressed, boring subject, so all around disappointing 😔
i think you should watch other interviews. i honestly think it was her bad interviewing skills that made him seem like that and kind of go inside his shell almost.

He’s so dreamy
I think so too
Watching this after Season 4 and they were right about the upgraded hotel room lol
Haha he even says, "They need to have an elevator ride up." Very prescient.
"It's a date" - these two have unfinished business.
We can only hope!
They most certainly did
She wasn't wrong, but it seemed implausible that she would walk away, they seem perfect together.

Luke Kirby was born in Hamilton, ON. Did not know that. Love him as Lenny Bruce.
I really liked their relationship as a friendship! I was so happy when she walked away- not every boy-girl relationship must be romantic!!!
Oh, I like Luke's description of his Lenny Bruce being a 'fairy godmother' figure 🙄
He is a great actor and very handsome man
Yes he is. He's my newest crush.
J'adore Luke kirby..

It can be that former Supreme Leader and God were behind this pecular event. God is creator of all life and the last word belongs always to God

@@resplendism I fully agree. She also did not recognize his dead pan humor. She's just not up to the job.
