Lenny Bruce and Luke Kirby (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) - Basin Street West, San Francisco 1965

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel series finale "Four Minutes" features Luke Kirby as Lenny Bruce doing some small bits from one of Lenny's last performances at the Basin Street West in San Francisco, August 1965. The show also added a moment where he dances from an interview he did with Nat Hentoff. I put them side by side similarly to the Steve Allen one on here that someone else made. Just wanted to appreciate Luke's performance one last time.

Luke Kirby did an awesome portrayal of Lenny Bruce all throughout the series. Sad that Lenny would be dead a year on from that performance it wasn't terrible but it clearly showed how far he had declined as a comic & how ill he actually was ...I loved that TMMM paid tribute to the man not just the comic legend
