- In this vid I install the M Performance (Aftermarket) kit. Although this is an aftermarket kit the fit and finish is spot on.
I am still waiting on the Side Skirts so that will be covered in another vid.

Those subtle changes of the m sport kit make a huge difference. Amazing. I think it would be a waste getting an m sport model and not fitting the m performance parts

Thanks....yes everything uses pre-existing holes. No additional drilling required

Thanks for the sub....yes the G20 is a great looking car especially with the MSport Plud pack (19" wheels) and the body kit. Range all depends on the type of driving. 400 miles to a tank if it's all urban and 600 miles for a combined journey
Hello, i have a g20 320i and I get 36.8 miles to the gallon, but I've only owned it a couple of weeks
Brilliant video. Off topic but damned if I can find the vehicle tool kit checked all round the boot in my G20. 2019 3 Series only found the compartment where the fuse box is! 🤔🤔
Have a look in the left hand side under a flap in the boot

What is it your trying to do, is it the whole kit or just certain parts? The rear bumper, diffuser & splitter are very easy for yourself to do but I understand if your nervous when it comes to the skirts & spoiler.
@@omerta2002 Im going to fix the whole M-performance set for the G20. The shop can do it so Im going to let them
@@FinancialFaiz Your the same as me then. Only the mirror caps I went for are non OEM but I'll say again the bumper trim, diffuser & splitter can be done by a total noob in half an hour tops. You only really need to know how to work a 10mm spanner.

Nice Video, I have bought a kit and wanted to know if you used tiger seal for the spoiler?
It's always good practice to use additional seal where possible for a stronger hold rather than just 3M. I also used tiger seal on under the spoiler for that purpose.

The package I been sent is massive. How did you manage to fit it in the car because the front passenger doesnt fold too far forward 😣

This kit was off eBay. At the time there were very few places where I could get them from but now. You should be able to find them easily. Try Fast Lane Styling on eBay. Their quality seems better than most

Did you bond the splitter into position? If you shop with the main dealers on eBay and watch the items they regularly discount the parts if you’re interested in oem. I didn’t want to betalink aftermarket parts to mine either. I’m on the g20 Bimmerpost Uk forum if you want any tips on fitting the side skirts too, they need to be bonded or the fit won’t be tight 👍
Not gonna lie the fit and finish and quality of the plastic is spot on. I used a bit of tiger seal bonding on the splitter on the right hand side only because there was an ever so slight gap....not enough to say it wasn't flush and probably down to my incompetence haha. No issues with the diffuser or spoiler however I used tiger's seal for the spoiler for a better bonding and best practice. This has got to be the best non OEM fitting kit I've come across....that's not me being biased but honest. The carbon spoiler I've got on my M4 is non OEM and that's not a great fit I'll be honest.
DownShift Throttle I think the early kits may be a bit iffy, your rear bumper trim does look like a better fit than mine, love your vids keep up the good work 👍
Could I please ask if the spoiler took much holding down when I dry fit mine today it seems quite bent and I think it will take some holding in place until everything sets.
Stick it down with 3m tape and then hold it down for a few minutes. Apply heat to it too using a hairdryer and you should be ok!
Hi, i have bought a 330 with the same spoiler on the trunk. I was wondering if they used a heater to remove the spoiler or only a small fishing line?
If you referring to the original spoiler, then I used just fishing line to remove it. You can hear it up to allow for the adhesive to soften helping with the removal with the fishing line
Hi just a quick question does the spliter touch the ground or steep ramp such as you know those car park ramps? Can you also tell me where you need to be careful if I get spiltter on my car

If you're not lowering your car you'll be fine. If you lower it then you'll have to be careful on carpark ramps and steep decline/inclines
personally i would have gone carbon fiber splitter defuser and boot spoiler

Hi pal are you going to remove the splitter when you change car ? What about the tigerseal on the paint work.i have bought the splitter but it looks like the fittments out and i really dont want seal on the paint work as its pcp
Hi....no I'm gonna keep it on the car as trade it in as is when the time comes. Never had any issues with OEM style bodykits when trading in. My last M140i was traded back to BMW with a KSB kit and had no issues with it.
@@DownShiftThrottle i get ya.was your corners tight to kit.my right side is bowing out not sitting flush.i might have to get a body shop to attack it .cheers
My right side one was slightly out but with the tiger seal it is now flush.....in order to remove it, once heated the tiger seal should peel off just like 3M glue residue.
So how does the car feel with the new tune?

Looks amazing. How does it look like after 2 month with dirt and scratches, still good? What are the name of the parts, could not find it on your shop
No scratches....decent quality. Probably out of stock as kit from China. Search G20 M Performance splitter or something and it will come up.
@@DownShiftThrottle thank you, on which onlineshop did you order it? I just calculate it for original M parts from germany -> 1600 EUR (lip,side, difussor, spoiler)

Hi, did you have to drill any new holes in the bumper to install the front lip?
Only towards the middle section of the lip. It has pre drilled holes in the lip and with the self tappers supplied 3 of them go straight in.
So that's gonna be an issue on a leased car, I guess. Thanks for the reply though!
Not really mate as it's not visable. Even if it was an OEM kit from BMW the fittings are exactly the same

The UK. The kit will cost £500. Install maybe £250.....
Just got this kit and fitted everything except the front lip. How did younattavh the front to the bumper? Did you use 3m double side tape? I tried and it kept pulling away from the bumper
I just lined it up and held it to the bumper using tape and then drilled to bumper once happy with the alignment on both sides

When you took off the stock rear diffuser, what did you do with the wiring that was attached to it?
Theres no wiring....
DownShift Throttle That’s so weird, when I went to take mine off, there was wiring back there. Maybe it’s a US spec thing. Thanks!
That is bizarre.....perhaps on a US spec it is different. I'd say hide the wiring behind the new diffuser....
You don't need to touch that, the clips you need to detach are at the top,the wiring you mention is at the bottom & I believe may be the 'kick opener' for the boot.
OME RTA Thanks! I got back under the car and did it last weekend. I didn’t realize there was a separate layer of plastic for the stock diffuser from the plastic that held those wires in place

On a 2.0d......I think you'll ruin it.
Gotcha, cause this block is the same Block as the b58 mines 2 Cylinders vase very very resistant it’s actually called a JZ of BMW so the block on the 330i is very strong, the n20 was good but not as strong pureturbo has a turbo for it 400 whp. Infect the 330e has 400 hp on a stage 2

Just bought the same kit, delivered today
Rear diffuser fits a dream, boot spoiler and front skirt, terrible fit and poor quality.
👍🏽that's a shame....no issues with mine. All still holding up just fine
What did you use to stick spoiler on?
3M tape only

Use a bit of heat when sticking or you could use a bit of sealant

I've seen it on a black car it looks really stealthy. These kits even from BMW come in Gloss Black or Carbon

I think it looks cheap now, an aftermarket kit kills the car. Keeping it original looked way better imo, but each to their own

Don’t forget to inform your insurance broker that you have modified the car in several ways because if you end up having an accident you will not be covered.
I wouldn't be publicising anything if it wasn't legit.
I think you misunderstand what I’m saying I’m not saying your work isn’t right I’m saying you need to inform your insurance company that you have modified the vehicle for them to amend your insurance policy
