      Hey, thank you so much! To be completely honest, I burnt myself out a little bit last year and have been enjoying a break from editing, but I’ll be back at it soon! I still have a few videos to edit and I have some awesome trips planned this year! Thanks so much for the support and kind words! 😊

    When I'm not hiking, I'm watching hiking videos. Headed to the Cirque in 3 weeks & I have to say hands down you have put together the best video out there. Thanx for all the info & taking me along on your trip🌲

      Our trip was complicated. The rain was unbearable & my son got altitude sickness bad. We only made it to Marms lake but it was amazing in a way. I had myself pumped to a point I'm obviously disappointed. On the other hand I don't hike to make others uncomfortable & am blessed for the experience. Learned a couple lessons & those peaks will be there next year. Enjoy your trip & look forward to yhe video. It will help me through the winter

    I've seen a gazillion videos and this one is one of the best ones (top 5 for sure) I've ever seen. The amount of milage you accumulated (setting up cameras to give us viewers a sense of the hike) must have been between 1 and 2 miles. Loved every second of this video! Thank you for sharing.

I plan on getting something better eventually, but I’m definitely happy with the quality I get from what I have. @ematherne11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ManivanAdventures thanks! Great video man. Thanks for filming and sharing our adventure. I know filming these add a lot of extra footsteps to your journey. Beautifully captured. Was one side of Texas pass “easier” than the other? We were considering going counter clockwise due to time restrictions. But going down they way you went up seems like it will be tougher than climbing it. Thoughts?

    • @ManivanAdventures
      @ManivanAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @tonymath I would say if you go counter clockwise, going down Texas Pass might be a little sleep and slippery, but if you have trekking poles and there is no snow/ice on the trail, I don’t see it being too much of a problem. Going up seemed like it would be a bit easier going counterclockwise too, as it is definitely steeper on the other side, BUT then again, it is still quite steep and you gain almost twice the elevation from that side, so it is hard to say which way is easier. I think either way will get your heart thumpin’, but if you just take your time, it isn’t as bad as it seems. I would have to suggest clockwise based on my experience, but I don’t think you can go wrong out here. Just incredible scenery at every turn! And thank you for the kind words! It’s definitely worth adding some extra milage to capture these amazing places the way I want to!

    • @ManivanAdventures
      @ManivanAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ematherne11 After looking at the map again, it looks like you gain elevation much quicker for the loop as a whole going counterclockwise, so I think the trail will be more difficult that way in general. Hope this helps!
