Would you advising running this through the Effects Loop of an amp, or right into the amp?
Well, depending on what you want to do, you can use it either way. If you are running it through a effects loop, then into a speaker, you have a couple of options. 1, for sure make sure that you turn the cab sim block off. You don't want to run a cab sim....into a cab. 2 you actually would be able to use the amp sim through the effects loop, much like using a distortion petal through the effects loop, the distortion petal would then be your preamp, & the actual amp would be just a power amp. I would assume that this would be the same for running the amp sim block when running the unit through the effect loop of an amp. You could also not use the amp sim or a distortion at all through the effects loop, & use just the reverbs, delays, & modulation effects, & keep the sound of your real amp/preamp. Now if running into the input of the amp. Make sure that you NOT use the amp sim, or the cab sim. You don't want to put a amp & cab....into a amp or cab. This was, you can use any of the distortions/overdrives, & though the input they will act as a boost & keep the sound of your real amp/preamp. You can also use any on the other effects through the input of the amp. Using the Amp sims & cab sims is only for playing/recording without using an actual amp & cab usually. The new silent stage setup where everyone uses In ear monitors (IEM'S) & the sound gets sent to the front of the house mixing console for the P.A. system at a live show, or out to the recording interface for recording. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching/commenting, & if you have not yet already, please subscribe.
how is the envelope filter on this?
Actually not bad. There are a few different auto wah's/envelope filters. I will be doing a video that demos all Bass effects on September 10th at 12pm EST. Thanks for watching/commenting, & if you have not yet already, please subscribe
