I've been making a bunch of beats based off all the guilds lately, and the two beats that bookend this video are the "Orzhov" ones (as a matter of fact, that's the same piano loop in both beats, just in different keys). Also, I mostly focused on Teysa doubling Afterlife triggers, but remember she doubles Reaper and Vindictive Vampire triggers too!

Damn I’m actually excited for this! I’m gonna go for the budget version of the deck I think, but what’s good is that I’ve got a couple of the good non-budget cards too (1 Ajani, 1 Tithe Taker, etc), so I’m gonna add those to the deck too. Looks super fun to play!
Love the deck tech! I brewed up the budget deck with visitation and Plague crafter. I am having an awesome time with it. Also, the second deck looks great too, but I counted only 58 cards in the main
I've been running a very similar list to your competitive deck tech since Allegiance came out. I subbed in priest of forgotten gods for Plaguecrafter. It does make it a bit more Aristocrat-y (I tend to use it to feed Visitation), but mana acceleration is almost unheard of in Orzhov colours. :) I've also been running revival instead of Ajani, but that's just because I... Don't have Ajani... Anyway. Love the deck tech! Lots of food for thought for my favourite archetype this set
Update played the competitve list and went 4-0 at FNM!! Thanks for the great list. Also Pitiless Pontiff is a house I swaped out 3 Oligarchs to run 3 pontiffs and it was a total house in most match ups. Played Boros Aggro, Mardu Aristocrats, Mone red, and Esper Control. Control was a hard matchup but this list a sleeper and nobody was running this at FNM great list.
I love this guild! I have made so many variations by now that I don't know Wich ones my fav. If you slash some red you can also make a very nasty discard deck with a bunch of cool stuff.
I did my own slapped together Orzov list on Arena when the set dropped and I have to say Pontiff was a bit of an over performer. Turns out holding up the threat of death touch + indestructible makes it hard to block or attack into. It can really help get you there when you need to stall the board a turn or two to draw into one of your outs.
I've made a similar deck at the beggining of the season ampak I've found Priest of Forgotten Gods to be very powerful in the deck - sorf of like an engine to the value train that is going on. Alongside her I've also added 1 or 2 copies of Elenda, because she is like a Hangarback Walker on steroids... The problem is she is a 1/1 for 4 mana, but she pays off most of the time. Have you also playtested with Revival//Revenge and Gruesome Menagerie - because getting back Plaguecrafter with those two is insane!
Absolutely love this competitive build I've been wanting to build with the Seraph, Div' Visit and Ajani and your deck tech does that. I can't wait to build it and have fun. Would you recommend Lyra just for a bit more angel spice. peace...✌

I main two procession alongside my playset of mortify. Honestly love it, giving me a powerful mana sink right as my curve drops off this deck in a control kaya's wrath shell is my go-to this format as I find it has good matchups against mono red, drake decks, control, and midrange. Just does everything so well (early blocking, lifegain, evasion) and pontiff is a brick wall in itself
Dev great video! I love the decks using new ravnica and allegiance cards but I would also love to see what these decks look like using older powerful cards from Ixalan and Dominaria (advanto?)

Lovely decks as usual. I wish Divine Visitation had an Orzhov alternate art on it - both Visitation and Ajani feel really out of place in an Orzhov (as in the guild, not the colours) deck, and sadly both seem to be the main bombs of the deck. Would there be any alternatives to playing these two from the various Orzhov-like RP cards? I was thinking of playing Elenda (while not Orzhov she at least feels like she'd fit in comfortably) instead of Ajani, but can't figure out what I'd play in place of Visitation.... Or maybe I should stick to the coming Guild Pack deck.... :)
MashineGunDalf It would but depending on your board state that could be a game ender. If you have a vindictive vamp out and just two afterlife creatures that’s a 8 point life swing (-4 opponent, + 4 to you). And then if you also have Tessa out it just gets crazy.
Dev, I've been waiting for this list, great job! But one thing - you NEED to find room for Priest of Forgotten Gods....that card is ridiculous. I am going to try a modified version of your list w/ 4X Priest....the card is too perfect for this deck to not include it - much better than Plaguecrafter here IMO. Plaguecrafter can go in the sideboard VS big creature midrange decks - it feels bad in many matchups main deck.

Depends on exactly how competitive your FNM is. The deck is consistently a good time, but if everyone at your store plays $400 decks, it's gonna be a tough road. But that applies to basically every budget deck (with the exception of Burn and Mono-Blue Tempo).
