I think as much as Eva tries to NOT be apart of her dad's business i think she's just one of those horse-whisper people that really are naturally good with them and can help the troubled ones to feel more trust for humans. Idk, I just feel like if she let it, the farm life wouldn't be as bad as she thinks.

I was gonna mention the metal plaques for the entrance but I see someone already has. I love this so much so far, the world, the house, everything is BEAUTIFUL! I saw a clip somewhere of the goats screaming and I want that to happen for you so much. I think you can also make them faint by scaring them! (And if they can be milked, they're probably female.... >.> )

Okay so for immersion, I have this mod that minimizes traffic in the world to the Sims that actually live there. One is from Zero and the other is from Lothari-hoe. I love it because when I play in my world, the only people you see moving around outside of the job positions, are the Sims that I've placed there. Especially for this new world, it keeps it with that Western country feel by only showing the Sims that I put there intentionally.
i'm pretty sure you can unlock these metal wall decor pieces that are from the horse ranch pack to put on the archway thingy outside! they're are a few jumping horses. you can also unlock them but i forget when you receive them... maybe through horse competitiona?

The horseshoe one needs to be unlocked via gameplay (unless you use the unlock entitlement cheat), the rest can just be bought from the catalogue. They slot directly onto the archway ☺️

There are metal signs of sheep, horses, and whatnot in the BB catalog that do hang on that ranch sign! You should look at adding one. Other wall hanging objects slot on there too. I have a ranch that has the swimming fish sign from Dine Out up there since they mostly sell fish and their last name is Finnly. And that notification about buying nectar is from the General Store. Took me a while to put two and two together.
this and platonic really catapulted you to my all time favorite simmer, your storytelling skills are out of this world. i read you take a lot of inspiration from romance novels and as an avid reader myself, i can see the influences, see how you deal with storytelling, giving your sims character and routines and /heart/, you can't help but fall in love with it.

You can add animals to your Ranch sign there in decorations they can stick on walls and you can drag them onto the sign I think to get Ava into learning to care for animals get her a mini sheep or Goat or a kitten/puppy.
Im a southerner and that howdy interaction got me. I laughed so hard. I showed my husband. 😅

16:50 - oh this hit me in my feels. My dad didn’t finish school (deep south, he was pulled out for farming, it’s more common than you think in the rural areas), and he was ever so insecure about his lack of education. But he was so proud of me as the first person on his family side to graduate college.
Proud of you and your dad It's not easy to battle those feelings of insecurity, but he clearly ensured you were raised with confidence to accomplish anything you set your mind to!

and I have a dalmatian(almost 2)! it's true that they can have a bad temperament, but with enough training, social interaction, and play time, it's good(in my experience).

Omg..can we say cuteness overload...I'm loving this LP. Butterscotch & the mini goat are adorable (I've got the same horse his name is Chestnut & another one name Kentucky the game chose that one) A cute name for the mini goat is either Oreo or Cookie. Oh Roberto Crinkletop is the man to talk to if you going to start making nectar, you can get tips from him and he pays good to buy your nectar & gives you his recipe if you have a high friendship. Before you do a LP do redo some of the game generated townies, I just wondered what you do with the game generated sims. I get sims families off the gallery to fill up houses or I redo them. Your ramdom townies always look good. The game generates such weird names for ramdom townies. I was sad when you sold turtle loved him.😭😭

I don't know what default eyes I have (genuinely can't recall) but I use a lot of Twisted Cat skin details--no default skin!! 🤍

@@MissSimReno TECHNICALLY the mini-goats and mini-sheep are not gendered (like the bunnies in Cottage Living) but I am pretty sure you can't milk a boy goat. Or a boy... any mammal.
