What Austin says at 2:18 captures exactly why I love your games. The social interaction in them is always great, and creates really fun and interactive gaming sessions with my friends and family, while also being genuinely interesting, shared experiences. Zac also said it really well when he spoke about board gaming in general with his intro. The time we spend playing these games is really special and I always look forward to what you and your team come up with next. Keep on being awesome!
IV studios will always be my favorite boardgame producer. To see the heart and soul put into these games make them amazing in and of themselves, not to mention being amazing games not only mechanically but artistically. I don’t think I will ever love a game as much as I love Fractured Sky. Easily my number 1 game of all time. You guys are amazing and hope to be able to play your games with you at Kickstarter fulfillment day one day. Thanks for helping me create some of the best gaming memories I’ll ever have.
Thanks so much for this amazing comment. The internet can be a hard place to read comments sometimes (lol), but ones like this make creating games super rewarding and I'm so thankful for you taking the time to write it! Would love to have you at a con or local pickup sometime soon.
There aren't very many companies that I'll happily buy everything from. IV is one of those because I know whatever they release is going to be nothing short of stellar. I'm always confident in supporting everything they put out! Also, I love videos like this! More please :)
What Austin said at 16:15 is exactly why I love IV Studios games! I have been an all in die hard moonrakers fan, but less into veiled fate or fractured sky. But what I don't like there are many more people interested in those games! That's the great thing about playing these games is you get the opportunity to try new things and play them with different people for the first time and see their reaction when they get pulled in and their face lights up, you know it's a good game! IV Studio has a way of connecting with their fan base and with the world and I'm excited to see what else they bring to my table!
As somebody who's career has also been in broadcast design / vfx, then I helped produce a graphic novel, and now I'm in VR media, all for the same small company, I can empathize with this journey. We often stop and ask 'how in the world did we get here?!' In the end, it's all the same stuff, a message, an audience, and a medium. You guys certainly have mastered that!
As a former creative in other fields, a current primary school Art teacher, and as a life-long tinkerer and maker, this behind the scenes content about the creative process is what I live for. I would literally pay for, subscribe to, or commit regular donations toward having regular access to this sort content. Love it guys. Can't wait for the Brink launch. 🔥👏🔥👏
Wow! Love when you guys make stuff like this! Also!!! Zac we don't just love the stuff you make, (although we do really love the stuff you make!) We love you guys!!!
It's always been apparent the IV team is driven by a mad passion for creation! Love to see them continue to enjoy what they do and be successful and wish them many more successes in the future :)
Ever since MR was first revealed on Kickstarter I've enjoyed every moment of being apart of this universe. I always get excited showing my name in your comic. I always had the dream to make a game, you guys have designed the game I've always wanted. I hope I get the chance to meet you guys in person one day and thank you for everything you do. Can't wait to see where Brink goes 🚀🛸🌌
Ok, obviously I’m going to back this on day 1, but seeing this video solidifies my love for these guys making quality games and the way they pour so much into creating the best product. I can’t wait to get my hands on Brink when it comes out!
But I want to finish with a positive note - I love how your passion and how much you are paying attention to detail! I have no doubt the boardgame will be brilliant.
Amazing little film. My game ideas are completely different from yours, but let me tell you, you have no idea how much you guys inspire me on a deeper level. Thank you for that.
Geez, this is the job i want, well more like the rep, I want to sell games to shops for designers like this. Or at a convention when I’m not at the game warehouse selling it to customers.
Moonrakers was my first ever Kickstarter to back. Have since backed and received MR Titan and Fractured Sky. Have Mythic Mischief, Vieled Fate and Moonrollers all on the way so fair to say im a dedicated fan now but Brink looks like it might be what im looking forward to playing the most. Love seeing the great team at IV bieng able continue what they love doing.
@@IVGamesStudio Appreciate the response, and I do agree that playing games with friends is a key joy. Just highlighting that board games being defined as multiplayer experiences that bring people together is part of what a lot of more solo focused gamers struggle with (sometimes to the extent of getting kicked out of hobby spaces or looked at strangely when they say they enjoy solo gaming). Video games can be amazing couch/online social experiences as well as can many games, but don't have that same stigma about playing alone. Just throwing my hat in for loosening the idea that "social experiences" is a core inextricable concept of boardgaming and solo gaming is an afterthought.
Thanks for sharing this perspective! Appreciate you taking the time and we’ll definitely keep these thoughts in mind for how we communicate in the future 🙂

You all are killing it. You can really see all the love and care you put into your games. Looking forward to skating in space!

YOU ARE AWESOME 🙂
Super inspirational! Working on my first game right now and love it whenever I see companies helping people understand the industry more :D

Thanks for being a part of our community 😊 and Austin says hello
@@IVGamesStudio Hi Austin ☺️

🥺
Really great video !! You are such a great team ! Do not stop making such amazing board games !
Thank you!!!
This game is very good. I’ve played a prototype copy. Highly recommend for those who like negotiation, but not strictly negotiation.
🙌
Amazing work! Really enjoyed this. Would like more of this insider perspective from all of you!
Thank you!!! We'll try to make more!
What, may I ask, is the game on the laptop screen at 1:40?
👀
@@IVGamesStudioooh~
Amazing video. That's a dream job y'all got there.
It's all made possible by the people who choose to play our games, so thank you for making it happen!!
Anyway we could buy one of those preproduction copies? Would love to have one that wasn’t perfect. It makes it unique!
hmmm not right now, but auctioning some off for charity might be fun! We'll let you know.
🔥🔥🔥
make a mini doc about board games.... but make it Drive to Survive
Whoever crosses the finish line first… is the winner 🤯
@@IVGamesStudio is there such a thing as a sideline reporter for tabletop gaming?
In our dreams there is
not enough Lilly
Could someone please put some proper English Captions in this video? Some of us game designers are deaf, too! Thanks!
Wow that intro, sorry Solo boardgamers.
Nothing but love for solo gamers 💜 and half our games have solo modes. Enjoying games in groups does not equal thinking they can't be enjoyed alone.

It’s really about the friends we made along the way 🙃
Life before death.
