I use to record @ Unique recording Studios in New York City back in the day and they had the legendary Neve SSL Boards a sound that digital boards can come close to IMO. When i found out you can possibly replicate that sound using the SSl interface i started researching youtube an ran across your channel. Great Job! Great DEMO! All involved very talented

Nice interface but tracking anything with multiple instruments with a 2 input interface is a pain. At this price point, I'd probably grab an Audient iD14 to get more inputs in the future. But great job SSL and Vintage King, awesome gear.

I still think the Apollo Twin Quad and their plugins is better. but for the budget the SSL 2 Plus is a good way to start even though you still need more hardware gears to set up..

how do you run things from your computer out, through the preamps and back into your computer? do you need the 2+ to do that or do they both do it? if somebody can lmk before I put my money down that'd be great thanks

How well does the SSL cope with full mix with lots of inserts? I’m in the market for a new interface, but don’t want one that sounds like Rice Crispiest unless the buffer is set really high.
