I'd only ever heard Cara via Transatlantic Sessions where she was perhaps a bit restrained, so it's really great to hear her on these sessions putting her heart and soul into it and with a really great band. What a lovely tapestry of sound.
A friend and his wife found this in England as it wasn't available on the net or anywhere else other than Ireland back then. Another friend had to de-zone my DVD player in order for it to play. I miss those dear people...

The audio quality is perfectly acceptable for a rip - i particularly like how the bass is very much to the fore and doesn't impact on Cara's vocal or on any of the other instrumentation. Grateful that someone made this available to a wider audience. Anything of Cara and Sam's is worth searching out.

Audio faults aside, Id like to find this compilation somewhere....beyond enjoyable....great musicianship. Wonderful singing.
I heard them last week on Radio 4 Clive Anderson, 'Loose Ends'. The pianist is her husband.
