I never thought the day would come that we wouldn't hear your voice calling the games but u know what we need u around to hoist the Cup up when we win it again and again and again and thats most important. Enjoy your retirement, health and family. Greatest Of All Time...

One of the greatest of all time! Never afraid to give criticize when needed & praise when deserved. How fortunate I was to hear him call the game for so many years. Thank you Bob.

Never going to forget Bobs last home game. It was hard to realize they even tied the game with 50 seconds left. It was just all about Bob

That was a beautiful tribute. When I went to my first Kings game in 1974, my friend told me to bring a transistor radio and an earbud. I said, "why?" They said the game is 10 times more exciting listening to Bob Miller call the game. And were they right! Bob made hockey a venue for young guys like myself to imagine and see great stars, hockey idols, and untold, uncountable excitement. The franchise owes Bob Miller thanks beyond any monetary value for building the club into one with a huge, dedicated fan base. I'm not in L.A. any longer, but I'll hear Bob Miller's voice somewhere in my head, and immediately remember precious times of my youth. Thank you, Bob, God Bless you.

I met Bob Miller in the fall of 2013...24 years after I started watching hockey. Was scared to death. What do you say to a Hall of Famer? Well, thanks to some friends that were ushers at STAPLES Center, I got to meet him. Could not have been more gracious. And once Bob knows you, he knows you. Two months later, we’re talking about how our Christmas vacations went...as if we’d been friends for years. I sat in his booth...with him...every time I sent a card he would personally write his thanks, or come and tell me so. The day he announced his retirement, prior to a home game, he stopped to see me. He wasn’t doing Q and A...and he stopped to see me. I still get to see him at broadcaster luncheons and I’m so glad for that.

#Thankyoubob I wish things were different and wish you were the voice of the Kings, but I'm glad you had a long career with the kings and I, along with other Kings fans, will miss you. Please enjoy you retirement and stay healthy as long as you can. Thank you for your service and go kings go

L.A. Los Angeles had the probably the 3 best play by play people ever - Chick Hearn / NBA / L.A. Lakers, Vin Scully / MLB / L.A. Dodgers and the last to retire - Bob Miller / NHL / L.A. Kings,,,,, Thank all of you the best calling of your sports here in L.A.
