Can it withstand outdoor heat? Will the charging pad spoil in a long run?
How did you secure the top so you can still open the middle section without the charger falling out? Would a non stick slider stop the charging if you were to lay it on top?

Thanks! A/c outlet is pretty simple honestly. It’s about the same process only difference being it’s attached directly to the battery.z I know it might seem a bit overkill but my biggest tip is to install an auxiliary battery to connect this outlet to.

Be sure to find a highspeed charging unit 15-18 watt output. Otherwise your phone will charge slower and may not be able to keep up with all your apps running. May need a high output USB port to plug into. I just switch them to QC 3.0
You think the 12v coming from the car would be enough or no?
@@nicbray1673 They ALL run off the 12v of car. But the device has to have 9v input rather than the 5v like normal chargers put out. The USB charger port needs to output the 9-12v QC 3.0 high output, and the phone needs to be capable of QC 3.0. Phones only charge to the slowest piece in the puzzle. I have some new vids on my channel on how to wire stuff in a car. It shows what I use and how to connect it a car
Nice install but, I wouldn't want my phone in that position where I have to keep looking straight down at the arm rest if I have to glance at it while driving.
The end result in the video looks like what its worth shouldve just went to boost auto or ordered the xipoo wireless charger lol

I think the wireless charging pad function for any vehicle is useless as well as the one in my 2016 Prius. I never use it because it would be a lot more practical to mount a wireless cellphone holder/charger instead so I can can keep looking at my phone with the navigation while driving and that's what I've done to my Prius and Silverado.
Good point! For safety I believe Google play/ Apple play have taken over that feature (looking at phone etc)
But your point is still spot on and that the capacity and speed at the charge is pretty weak. I honestly don’t even use anymore

I used this same exact charger for this but its extremely slow, even if the temperature is cooler out. What type of charging speed are you seeing? Does it get hot to the touch?

@nihilisticpunk24 Same here bud. truth be told I’m comparing this w/ $160 “professionally built” boost auto parts inductive charger in my suburban & it’s about same speed. I‘ve yet to find an inductive charger that is fast. Any luck on your end?
Maknificent12 wow so you have the slow charging as well. I was just looking at the boost auto charger. Unfortunately I don’t have much experience with the charging systems from the factory to know wether or not this whole thing is just a novelty or something that needs another few years of developing to become practical. I’ve heard people complain in BMW forums that the factory wireless charger barely works and gets hot etc. Idk if it’s just that the voltage supplied in a car isn’t good enough or just what. I even plugged mine into a 30w Apple charger and that into a 110v inverter and then into the car and it was still slow!
@nihilisticpunk hoping the tech will catch up in a few years. Feels almost like mini disc players... such a good idea but just didn't catch on. But i think the whole nikola tesla no wires things time has finally come so hopefully it's only a matter of time till the tech improves. Might be a long shot but in due time the charging vibes will be in the air like simple wifi radio waves.

First, it emits such little amperage and second, isn’t that the express purpose of fuses?
I actually stopped using it because the charge is soooooo slow even with a 5 coil that the juice isn’t worth the squeeze in my opinion. Novel idea but needs more innovation to be effective
