  • In this video, I'm sharing my beginner's guide to impressionist photography. Whether you're new to this beautiful and expressive style of photography or just looking to improve your skills, this video will give you the tools and techniques you need to get started.
I'll cover the key elements of impressionist photography, including slow shutter speeds, selective focus, colour and composition. I'll walk you through the philosophy behind impressionist photography and show you how to capture the mood and atmosphere of a scene.
You'll learn how to use a slower shutter speed to create motion blur, experiment with focus to create depth in your images, and how to use colour and composition to convey emotion in your photos. I'll also offer tips and advice to help you along the way.
This guide is packed with practical information that you can use to take your impressionist photography to the next level. So, whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced photographer looking to expand your skills, this video is for you.
If you enjoyed this guide and want to learn more, check out my free ebook 'Tips and Techniques of Impressionist Photography, evapolak.com/IPTT.html

Thank you Eva for your free ebook that I have just successfully downloaded. I have only recently discovered your TH-cam channel and I am really enjoying watching your videos on ICM and impressionistic photography, all of which is very much appreciated.

Thank you very much for the interesting and educational presentation of the subject. When I tried to shoot at open aperture (2.8), slow speed (1/20) ISO100 the image came out too bright. Should I use a filter? Thank you very much for your consideration. Anyway, I'll try again until I succeed.

Thank you, a very informative and inspiring video. The link you provided doesn't seem to take you to the ebook you mentioned though, but to another - Creative Macro Photography?

    I'm new here.
I was puzzled about the amount of Australian scenery in your work. I almost never see it, unless the speaker is Australian, and you don't sound very Australian.
So I checked, a new Kiwi. Good luck in the World Cup.
