I have 4 red foots at home I came across your channel looking to find new ideas for them and became interested in all your reptiles! Can you do a video on red foots?

That elongated got a good bite on the cheek. Haha he decided the food right there wasn't worth it after that. They are very slow methodical attackers. Must not of hurt though, kept eating! Love the mountain tortoises! Pretty cool.

Funny you talked about falling fruit. I drop food for my tortoise. I have started calling it dropfeeding. Because my tortoise seems to identify food partly by the sound of it hitting the ground. Favorite foods get a faster response.

I’ve recently bought into my collection a 4month old Manauria emys emys , would love an update on M E phayeri . My little guy spends 2 hrs or more a day swimming in its water , which is more than my T. c. carolina. A video on what is the cut off point for turtle/tortoise classification might bring healthy debate

Cloaca is a single opening found in fish, birds, reptiles & amphibians, their sex organs are inside. Mammals have 2 openings. Cloaca is a latin word which means Sewer!

Hey Kenan I was hoping you could help me. I heard that a leopard tortoise's diet has to be 75% hay, but mine refuses to eat it. The only things he has eaten so far are Romaine lettuce, cactus, and carrot. Do you have any tips on getting him/her to eat hay?

Better burn the big fat tick kenan cause the big ones are female and they carry eggs with them. They say if you squish them you are helping the baby tick out. Just an advice. More power kamp kenan.

Kenan, I follow you all the time...I have a question, I was ready to buy a Leopard but the Burmese Mountain Tortoise seems like a better fit. I live in Michigan, I am going to buy and build a man Cave in my Garage, pool table, tarts, and an open design for tortoise... Soaking pan included.... The man cave, bar, beer on tap, a walk out garden.... Leopard or Mountain.. Size of both is 100% manageable but want a large personality to get along with everybody. I also own a 200 Lb English Mastiff so size is okay.. just not Sulcata 200 Lb. my Mastiff is stubborn in a lazy way. so 100 lbs great in 10 years..My wife is 100% behind.. my children are adults, youngest is 22 the oldest is your age... so adding a life long pet I can get into..Right now have 55 gallon Rubber maid I am setting up, just added seeds, Rosemary, Zucchini, Parsley, Black seed lettuce..I will be adding Burma grass
