If a neighbor is getting some work done like replacing their fence then yes they would have to make sure that all utilities asked to be marked are marked before the job is done yes the neighbor is getting the fence work done not you but those utilities cross yards and all utilities have to be marked and accounted for to prevent damage and any potential fatalities or injuries
I have a reply in Kansas City, Missouri you have a safety man who has never ever once been in a tree been zapped by a line or anything he knows how to do the paper part of the safety part of your guidelines but he has no idea what it’s like to keep them boys out there safe and sound You were offered several different options for a safety guy you should never ever have a safety man that does not know what he is talking about because they are the ones you listen to and they are the ones that save lives. My husband has been in this business for a very long time. He knows that safety from front to Back. He was actually ask by your big safety supervisor Paul if he wanted that position, my husband would love to have that position and he would know how to teach these people. Most of them are kids now he would save lives you should’ve thought of him you need somebody for the office and somebody for the field and who do you have for both positions is not who needs to be out there is that man doesn’t know what that powerline can do to you. He’s never ever been around it it’s never zapped him. It’s never made the hair on his head stand up just from being close to it. He’s not qualified to be out there, teaching those kids or men how to save themselves you need to rethink your thoughts about Kansas City, Missouri, and your safety supervisor for the Missouri side
USIC phone interviewer/recruiter offered $18.00hr starting pay. I drive 70miles to the Northeast Florida, Jacksonville office for the in-person interview, and the pay offered was $16.50. Total bait-and-switch bullcrap. Totally not interested in any company which relies on unethical business practices like this. I have 2 other job offers from unrelated businesses @ 17 & 18hr. I would not have wasted my time and gas on USIC had they been honest. Florida is an 'at-will' employment state. A bait and switch is not illegal, but just reasonably imagine what USIC management may do through the years of employment if they have the cajones and moral-deficiency to do that at the very onset!
Very simple and easy tasks basically looking for wires pipes drains or faults under the ground for those who are going to perform construction in the area like digging etc
@@kes933 im bouta start at 20 an hour... doing it for the money well see how it goes.. on call doesnt sound fun... cold weather doesnt sound fun... long hours aswell from what ive been told

Is it standard procedure to go onto property you haven't been called to?
