For those who don't know the Gerudo Veil & Gerudo Sirwal can be replaced with certain clothing options related to the Gerudo! For example, the veil can be replaced with the Thunder Helm as the helm covers Link's face & is traditionally worn by Gerudo Chiefs! The Sirwal can be replaced with either the Sand Boots or Snow Boots, as Link can wear them while communicating with Bozai (who is fooled by Link's crossdressing into thinking they are female) as part of two quest lines which allow Link to acquire the Sand Boots & Snow Boots! However the Thunder Helm, Sand Boots, and/or Snow Boots must be worn with parts of the Gerudo Outfit (Veil, Top, or Sirwal) or other armor associated with the Gerudo! The Sand Boots & Snow Boots are technically unisex Gerudo clothing as Bozai mentions that they were made by a Gerudo Artisan who had since passed away! Mind you the Radiant Armor & Desert Voe Armor Sets while Gerudo made are designed for males (the Gerudo Secret Club being a black market supplier as it is illegal to sell men's clothing in Gerudo Town, though those laws only apply to Gerudo Town, which is why Rhondson can sell the Desert Voe Armor Set in Tarrey Town legally upon opening her shop there! Gerudo Town is among one of the more interesting locals in BotW due to its laws! There is a limit to the guards ability to detect Link as shown if you remove Link's disguise in the oasis water source that towers over Gerudo Town (all of the water within the town flows from said oasis & a Korok can be found there)! Since it is out of view of the guards, it is the only place besides the Gerudo Secret Club that Link can wear other armor besides his disguise (and other equipment that do not expose Link's gender due to how they are perceived by the Gerudo) or even go armorless that is technically within Gerudo Town! As the Gerudo Secret Club is a black market shop that sells men's clothing, Link is welcome there, though he is subject to arrest & removal if he leaves without disguising himself! Also I'd like to make it clear, the Gerudo do not consider Link a Gerudo while disguised as they make it clear they see him as a Hylian Vai (female) rather than a Gerudo Vai due to Link's skin tone & height! I wanna add that Link probably doesn't get into Gerudo town purely because he's androgynous and they can't tell, the guards just most likely think he's a trans girl due to his clothing and let him through.
He's androgynous enough for the disguise to work. If he had a visible mustache and beard and shorter hair, they probably would be suspicious and kick him out.
Link's respawn coordinates are constantly being updated when normally walking around. In the lost woods this is disabled and instead are forcibly set when you pass certain thresholds(Like the entrance or the two torches half way in. By the deku tree the normal behavior is re-enabled). So if you save it saves the threshold coords and not your current ones to ensure people don't get stuck or cheese the forest(super glitches aside). These areas also restrict the placement of the travel medallion to avoid a similar issue from occurring. We can demonstrate the coord updates using moon jumps. During that state of "Are you taming a horse?" the coords don't update when running around but are forced to change when running into the mist.
If you watch a memory fast enough after campfire glitching it seems to retain the temporary power of the glitch until a full loading screen is used itself for some reason
i didn't even know this town existed. and i've played the game for a whopping 8 hours in the 10 months i've owned it. its a lot of time if you count the seconds backwards in 64 bit binary.
Long Answer: Not with this glitch alone. The theory is possible, as demonstrated by Hyrule Overload(long story short, enter hyrule castle during dark beast ganon fight and leave loads dark beast ganon but does not fully unload him. repeat until game breaks), you can stand in Gerudo Town without the trigger ever loading with enough loaded... Short Answer: Not currently, but maybe someday.
Lowkey miss the old, no-voiceover editing style, the original video was what convinced me to subscribe way back when. But the new methods of breaking in were a blast to watch!

I ask because I ACCIDENTALLY did exactly that while trying to ascend to the 5th or 6th floor, and went straight through a pillar to the 7th. I backed out before emerging, but now I can't help but wonder what would happen. I can't be bothered to lose my save data to find out, but am super curious. You could also test this with the Marbled Gohma in the Fire Temple, but since Colgera and the Muctorok are fought in the central courtyard of their temples, they don't have an arena to break into. UNLESS... you try visiting their arenas in the depths before you meet them in the surface/sky? What happens then?

Using the campfire glitch, you can enter the throne room from the back and activate the first cutscene required to start the Yiga hideout. You can then stand on the wall and rush down after another campfire glitch to activate the 2nd cutscene. Using this you can completely skip the gerudo outfit. This game is broken.
Looking back at the footage I used when I said that, I see where I might have confused some people. She can do the campfire method(the ~5 seconds method). When I play botw, I am always doing things like this, so her exposure to this game is... well breaking it. So if she rests at a campfire, she always looks up. She used it to run past the flowers at Hila Rao, kinda proud of my kid for that one.

Takes less time to get the outfit than it takes to break in once. So not really. Helpful for challenge playthroughs that don't want to/can't get the outfit though.
