Love this machine. I'm a single dad to 2 boys and they prefer bread from this machine to anything I can buy in the supermarket! I have to mention that after about 6 months of use, most of the non-stick has worn off the paddle and the spindle is now so stiff in the tin that I can hardly turn it by hand. But it still manages to make really nice bread. I've also learnt that putting warm water and sugar and yeast in the tin and allowing the yeast to get kick started really helps things along (I use a thermometer to get it to around 35C) and I've stopped using oil as the bread is more chewy. 10 out of 10 for this machine.
We love the smell of freshly baked bread and when you can eat it warm you just can’t beat it. Thank you for leaving some great tips. We will have a go at them. Thanks for stopping by and for taking the time to comment 😊
Wet ingredients always go in first; putting water in on top of dry ingredients may have contributed to over-proofing and bread not baked completely on top. Mixes are not such a great choice for bread machines, try making bread from a recipe that came with the unit. I've heard these are excellent breadmakers; This week, September 6th, 2023, they are selling a very similar unit at Aldi in the US - it has all the same settings. This is currently selling for $49.99 in the States.
Bread my mind, lol you sure have some clever and funny puns, love it!!! Awesome Aldi Bread Maker review. You give great details and tips on using it. Nicely done my friend.
Good Morning! Thank you for another excellent review video! A very beautiful combination of video and information! Big thumb up, my friend! Receive my very best regards!
I have been keeping my eye on these. They had them in my branch regularly and a year or so back at ten pounds less than usual listed price. I was tempted, but I do like hand making bread. Only trouble is, recently I suspect I've had trouble with my kneading method and they haven't been rising. Anyway. The Bread maker was on the Special Buy list recently and my local branch had once left kicking around for ages. I was in today and it had £20 off. Well. No brainer eh? Looking forward to trying it out!
@@Mandyglen They assure me that it hasn't Been dropped! 😮 With the likelihood of more technological tampering with the food chain, making your own is becoming increasingly important, though my Other Half has turned down my suggestion of buying a cow! 😉
Yes I would love to see a side by side comparison of the Lidl vs Aldi Bread maker, 50 dollars is a great price for a bread maker is it works well and holds up to use, awesome review!
That is a great deal for a Bread Maker. You can make many different kind of bread. It includes with different flour too. Very nice. The bread came out nice color and looks yummy! Thumbs up! 24
Thank you for the reviews. I have the same machine and agree with our views. Question: is there a way, on the manual bake function, to bake it for longer than the standard 30 minutes? e.g. setting on dark, it is at 200C but the default time is 30 minutes...i'd like to bake at 45 or 1 hour at this temp to get a crispier crust ...e.g. for sourdough etc.
Never saw a good brown topcrust coming out of these machines and some crusts look like a thin papercover. Any tips before buying one? Maybe browning it afterward with a Blow Torch?
Love the video! Do you still use this machine? I got it for Christmas in 2020 and I’ve used it about 10 times and even when baking the smaller loaves it just doesn’t rise properly (been baking bread my whole life so without sounding like I’m tootin’ my own horn I know a little about the process) I think my issue is the lid doesn’t stay sealed when the kneading process begins then causing the loaf to not rise properly and then spoil the bake. Have you had issues with yours at all? It wobbles side to side but I can’t see a way to tighten any screws sadly. Thank you Xxx
Thank you 😊. There’s nothing nicer than the smell of baking bread. We don’t use it very often and also don’t see a great rise but the breads always taste good. It’s definitely not as good as the Morphy Richards one we used to have. Yes, you might be right about the lid. Now I think about it the lid on my old MR one was very heavy and didn’t move at all 😊
Hi, l bought this bread machine in France and the instructions are only in French. Could I Please ask if you might possibly do a slow video of the manual page by page so that I cold take still screen shots. I would be most grateful. I have searched the Internet to find a copy but there is nothing. I cannot use the machine for this reason. Thank you.
I’ve seen various instructions and some manufacturers say liquids first while others say dry ingredients first. My very first bread machine, can’t remember the brand, said to pour the ingredients into the machine in the order they’re listed in the recipe 🎄
Hi, Considering how easy Bread is to make, that seems like a tiny loaf to have to wait 3 hours for... You have now used it for some time, knowing what you know about it, would you still buy the same unit after 11 months usage?
I actually gave this one to my friend but she uses it regularly. I think she mostly makes fruit loaf, banana bread and jam in it. I do struggle to knead bread with migratory arthritis in my hands so find a bread maker quite useful 😊
@@Mandyglen I do understand what your saying, so if you gave this one away... What brand are you currently using? And would you have bought this unit again if you knew then what you know now? FYI: the way I make bread does not need kneading... 5 min prep time use a spoon to combine things and stick in fridge and let the yeast do the work.
@@Mandyglen have you made a review of that one? if yes, care to shoot me a Link please? Also this new one same size or a proper full loaf tin with two paddles?
Yay a Bread Maker, I think we have gone through several Bread Makers over time, they don’t seem to last that long with us 🤔😳🤭 Thanks for giving us a review on this one & as always love the Title, You do realise these Pun titles will have to stay all the time 😆🤣 Hope the weekend is going well for you all, stay safe & Take care 👍🥰😍🍞xx
Great Ambiano Bread Maker review share my friend. shame it touched the lid to effect the finished appearance of the bread, but seemed to do a good job baking. Like 10

I have a Morphy Richards one. It was twice the price but the bread seems to come out looking better and comes off the blade easier too.

It says it makes yogurt but doesn't include a recipe. Do you have one I could use with this Ambiano Bread Machine? tia
I don’t have one and haven’t tried making yogurt in mine. If you type it into google there are some recipes online. Hope this helps.
@Mandyglen thx so much for taking the time to answer. I appreciate that. :)

Nothing better than fresh bread... looks like the machine worked well... sounded nicely done with that outer 'crunchiness' as well... yummy...

I got to say that I tied making bread once and I burnt it and will never do it again. But I might if I had a machine like this. HAHAHA. LIKE 17. 👍👍👍
