We play #5 ol Miss then at #4 Alabama then at #16 Oklahoma. LSU is ranked ,Clemsux ranked ,Missouri ranked 7 of 12 .
Either that or they don't know they're in the SEC. The gamecocks always have a tough schedule.

LSU QB makes hasty throws under pressure.... so this will definetly be interesting to see how he reacts. I do think LSU has a better O-line... Saturday will tell the TALE

Compared to Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, it's very soft. You have Alabama, Ole Miss, and Lsu (who might be really bad). That's pretty much it. Not exactly a murders row

SC isn’t equipped to win a shootout with lsu, if they want to win they need to keep it low scoring.
I can't wait for this game.
This could very well define the season for both teams but will be a legit trial-by-fire for Gamecock Nation and will properly show just how good or bad we will be the rest of the year.
And if LSU loses, there's gonna be some very concerned Cajuns wondering what the rest of their year will look like as well.

I think this is a toss game for me. I am not sure which team can play good enough to win. I wouldn't be surprised either way. Not sure I would call either team winning an upset.

I think LSU wins 23 - 16. LSU can't run the ball, but their line will do a good enough job of protecting Nussmeyer. The SC offense will struggle. Both teams get at least 1 fg set up by defense, but can't get a TD on a short field.

South Carolina consistently plays one of the top 10 hardest schedules in the nation. If nothing else just throwing in Clemson as the final game puts an asterix on it. We don't play Georgia this year, but we play Alabama in their house. We don't play Tennessee this year' but we play Oklahoma at their house. The only team that may have a harder schedule in the SEC would probably be Florida
