Motivational interviewing: Ken interviews Daryl

Daryl is recently released from prison and ambivalent about whether to return to dealing methamphetamine or stay out of the dealer scene. Ken works with Daryl using the motivational skills of open questions, affirmation, reflection and summarising to engender change talk by Daryl. The interview also has a discord backdrop which is typical of working with people who have a history of offending behaviour.

That was excellent. Ken, you did such a terrific job. I know it was just acting ( and good acting mind you) but I thought acceptance part of this and temperament under the circumstances was just excellent. I am doing a diploma in AOD and found that very useful. Thank you
