Initially bhagyalekshmi lend her voice to both shobhana and nagavalli’s character ...before wrapping up the movie ,Director Fazil felt bhagyalakahmis Tamil voice sounded similar to malayalam ,hence Durga Vijay was ropped in from Chennai to dub nagavallis character.....unfortunately Durga Vijay’s voice was not acknowledged (mentioned in movie credits) anywhere after the movie was a blockbuster success Bhagyalekshmi took all the credit for nagavallis voice makeover as well
This lady tries to steal the respect and appreciation which someone else deserves. Hats off to Durga who the real voice behind the scene which we all liked the most.

It was such a unique voice rendered by Nagavally in Manichithrathazhu. I was searching the name of this dubbing artist who rendered voice to Nagavally since a long back. Congratulations to Mrs. Durga for a wonderful job. First day itself I realized it was not dubbed by Mrs. Bhagyalkshmi. Her voice is much sweeter than Durga's voice. I have heard Nagavally's similar voice in so many Tamil movies especially for actresses like Khushboo, Nadiya Moithu, Radha etc even before watching Manichithrathazhu. Both of them are highly talented dubbing artists. But, one thing I would like to tell you that artists should be so humble and down to earth than ordinary people. It is a God gifted talent. Nothing wrong if we admit or congratulate somebody's talent in public, especially for artists those who are in the same field. Congratulations Mr. Fasil for revealing the truth.

A great dubbing artist taking credit for someone else's work. It's a well known fact that she dubbed only for Ganga - the Malayalam portion. The whole set of Tamil dialogues was dubbed by Durga - a famous Tamil dubbing artist who was the voice of Ambika and Radha in their Tamil movies. With all due respect, Bhagyalakshmi just made me lose my respect I had for her work. Taking undue credits is uncalled for! :|
It was the producer and the director who should have given Durga her credit, not another dubbing artist. Fazil also told while dubbing Bhagyalakshi has given voice to both characters but later on they have changed. So for Bhagyalakshmi, she has given voice for both.Nowhere in the credits there is a name called Durga. So its all producer's fault. You respect her or not, she is a legend.

It should be she did not lie, not "did not lied". She has been lying by claiming that she is the one who dubbed for the entire monologue and it is wrong. Concealing the truth is equal to lying.

Watched 3 times in malayalam. How did Mr. Fazil Imagined a story at 90s he was really ahead of time... And most surprisingly shobana didn't lent her own
She can't fool all by claiming that she dubbed the Tamil portion in the film.This portion is not dubbed by her. The whole Tamil portion (Nagavally) is dubbed by Durga, a Tamil dubbing artist. (Not Jayageetha as someone noted.)

A great dubbing artist taking credit for someone else's work. It's a well known fact that she dubbed only for Ganga - the Malayalam portion. The whole set of Tamil dialogues was dubbed by Durga - a famous Tamil dubbing artist who was the voice of Ambika and Radha in their Tamil movies. With all due respect, Bhagyalakshmi just made me lose my respect I had for her work. Taking undue credits is uncalled for! :|
It was the producer and the director who should have given Durga her credit, not another dubbing artist. Fazil also told while dubbing Bhagyalakshi has given voice to both characters but later on they have changed. So for Bhagyalakshmi, she has given voice for both.Nowhere in the credits there is a name called Durga. So its all producer's fault. You respect her or not, she is a legend.
