    A great variety of finds in this field from different era and civilisations. I particularly enjoyed watching at the first king from Anjoux ascendancy (but I am partial because I am French). Otherwise, very fine coins from Poland, Ottoman Empire, Habsburg dynasty and of course this cracking Roman fibula. Thank you for sharing with us. Take care.

      Yes, many different time periods, only add to the fact this was and is today one of biggest intersection of culture, religion, nations and trade in the world, and full of history.. glad you enjoy the video, cheers!

    Another great video :) This Ferdinand's denarius looks so good. I realy like this type of coin. And about this counterfeit groshen of Sigismunus. This coin show that person who created the dies wasn't literate and used radnom letters in legend.

    • @MD_Panonnia
      @MD_Panonnia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, the Ferdinand looks nice, so many of these coins are in really bad condition, and to find one of good ones is always nice.. At first I was thinking that my eyes are bad, but with help of one good gentleman from Poland I was able to identify that Sigismund coin, I saw that head and crown in the past but due to the condition I needed help, also seems that these counterfit coins are even rarer then the original ones. Thanks for nice comment, cheers!

    Great vid. Just wondering it would be great if you kept the picture of the cleaned coins up for a bit longer on each find to get a better look :)

      @MD_Panonnia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I will try to work on that a bit, I'm thinking already for long time that my videos are too long for people to watch, thats why i decide to lay photos over video to keep video dynamics, but l will try to improve. Thanks for watching!

    Hey man nice video. I have a question for you, since you seem to have a bit more expertise when it comes to ancient roman coins than me. I recently dug up a republican denari 52 b.c. With Brutus and Ahala on it. The condition is ok but a friend of mine said, that this particular coin was quite rare. Thanks in advance and keep up the good work.

    • @MD_Panonnia
      @MD_Panonnia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well to be honest, I'm very far away from the experts when it comes to roman coins, I only manage to recognize some coins wich repeat so many time in my area (mostly 3th and 4th century) and I have stupid ability to remeber coin design once I see, never the less even I sometimes can't remember at first wich coin is about.. I have never found any roman republic coins so there is little I can help you with, but you can try contact "Classical Numismatics" on Instagram, he the real expert when it comes to roman coins, and surerly he will help You. Cheers

      It is rare coin, has heads on both sides(averese and reverse).

    How did they loose the coins? I mean I dont get why old coins are seminated everywhere and not in certain places

    • @MD_Panonnia
      @MD_Panonnia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Well, as for roman coins, many of these I found are from inflation period of 3rd century, hence their value in that time was not very big, there is also custom wich came to this area with german settlers, of throwing coins during planting seeds for luck in upcoming harvest, and there is also today's reason of pocket holes and lost purses. Cheers

    Fascinating, as always, friend🖖🏼
    I would only suggest keeping to showing the find information and cleaned up photo after you show the piece in the field, as you had been. Makes it easier to look at and read with that little extra time after the field video itself. Otherwise, I enjoy hearing your thoughts and sharing your understanding of what you find.

    • @MD_Panonnia
      @MD_Panonnia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well the reason I start showing cleaned finds over the video, is because I recive a lot of messages on Instagram that I break dynamics of the video with showing photos after after the field video itself, but I guess I can combine it, for some common finds show it over video, and some really good I can show after the video.. thanks for nice comment! Cheers

      @@MD_Panonnia you do as you see best, friend. Everyone has their own preferences but it’s your production to present as you think most viewers would like. Perhaps as you’ve changed it but a bit longer with the post find clip would help? Either ways it’s always a bit of a thrill by proxy seeing you unearth objects buried away for such a very long time!🖖🏼

    Great video. That roman swastika brooch is one of a kind. Sad how nowadays it represents smth else to most people than it used to in the past. Vert familiar symbol also in Finland where im from. Used in many places to bring luck and represent the sun etc. Damn those silver coins, awesome finds man 😁 Also Ive been to Croatia couple of times and damn I love that country 😁

    • @MD_Panonnia
      @MD_Panonnia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, very sad how how we allow that original meaning of so many symbols and writtings change its original meaning, I'm great fan of ww2 period, and I know the usage of that symbol in Finnish army during that time.. yes Croatia can be beautiful at time to time, even if it's sometimes hard to live here, and one of goals of my videos is to show that history can be found in mainland Croatia not only on the coast. Cheers

      @@MD_Panonnia Yea also used in the army during ww2 but also earlier. Thousands of years. Seen also artefacts from 18th and 19th centuary with swastikas 😁. I wish to visit Croatia again soon and also more of the mainland, been only in the coastal area basically.
