That Anduin was a monster. Seems like every time you were about to kill an enemy hero, he was right there to heal or pull away.
This. Was coming to comment on Anduin's gameplay. This is a gold example of why Anduin is one of my favorite healers.

Back to base every 30 seconds - captured the most fundamental aspect of the Genji experience!

that was great
a few massively important things as genji if you don't want to feed. 1) watch your cooldowns, only e in if you have your d and w available unless you know you will get the reset. Even if you have your e and w you are still susceptible to stuns so make sure you've mapped out an escape route, usually a d over terrain. 2) while poking you can take significantly less damage if you initiate the basic and throw the other two aa shurikens automatically as you walk backwards. Genji's aa is more like tracer than it is like raynor as you can move while it is going off 3) you should also be throwing shurikens under two scenarios a) in between basics and b) to check bushes for tanks that are trying to kill you.

I bought the original Demonic Tyrael skin back when you could buy whatever you wanted. Then Blizz changed the art for that skin, making it worse (IMO). I contacted support and they wouldn't/couldn't refund my money, but did let me pick any skin I wanted as compensation. So I picked Mecha Anubarak.
That Deckard Cain mount, with 0 frames of animation, XD just cracks me up.

Hey Pally! Try this build for a little bit more aggressive playstyle for genji: [T2132114,Genji] I'd love to see a video on it from you, the play is to jump in with your trait from your mount to melee range throw shurikens, deflect and dash out. If the enemy team has a lot of cc, BW or varian just change the lvl 16 and 20 talents but I think you would like this build a lot.

This sums up my genji experience as well after all the nerfs. Go in, oh they just barely got away, aaaannd I am dying now. I have given up and just pick zeratul instead if I am in the mood for some mobility/killer cheese.

Hey pally, don’t underestimate the Genji aa. There’s also a small window where you can move while he is still in his aa animation. There is also a way to time Q with your aa to just have a nice little burst as well.

When I played Gengi I liked to pick that talent at level 1 that let you jump super far from the horse. with that I could go deep into the back line and still have the swift strike to disengage if I needed to. I also always tried to stay between the enemy and his escape route so I could dash to safety and still damage him
If Anyone wants to get good with genji I'll give you one tip literally never use your E just use auto attacks and Q
And for E Just use it to finish kills that is one big tip for getting good with genji and good luck ;)
Noted! Maybe that'll help me keep from feeding so much when Genji is free-to-play and random throws him at me...

Honestly my favorite thing about that genji build is running from lane to lane and killing the mage creep to get regen globes. Then taking the siege creeps whenever they’re up using cyber agility. That way you get the sustain he’s missing.

Those high burst Heroes on the enemy team, would have been a good use for the Reflect talents.
Honestly as a lvl 55 genji, I think the Q build in to later game W with shield and more dmg is the best! Lots of burst and sustain
And the shiled you get from deflecting dmg is really good cus normally you are in the heat of the battle when using W

21-5 now following your builds. This is talent for talent how I play Genji and I'm awful with him. I finished the game with 18 shurriken hits because for some reason I ended up in the solo lane.
Did you mention the strategy where you toss a Shuriken early to get the cooldown going? If you time it well you effectively get 5 casts in combat rather than 3 since the cooldown resets all 3 charges. Waste one in advance for extras later. Time it with your engage and it can be pretty nasty.
Good game. That was fun to watch, and you showed some really good example of what Genji is like. Mission accomplished!
Yeah Genji is a hero that needs a LOT of movement practice and a hair trigger. Like the instant you see Vala step out of position you gotta jump her like a back street mugging. His windows of effectiveness are measured in half seconds.

Other than the Artanis game, this has been my favorite A-Z episode so far!
WHAT IF: any minion that gets the killing shot on a hero gets a promote buff? it's not like it will brake the game, 1 minion for 1 death. but it probably punishes tunneler on mid to much and will lead to even more stomps.~
Could have used deflect more deliberately. Valla kept focusing the shit out of you and deflect was almost always off cooldown.

Genii is fun but I feel he needs a little more survivability if he is going to be less mobile.

That lvl 20 you picked is by far the worst. I picked it when i was a noob genji. Now as lvl 160 genji I'm usually picking ult buffs, sometimes zanshin. Zanshin with w build is basically hyper comp dependent and usually only works from bronze to low plat

iirc he was always this squishy, it's just when he was first released he could delete her before she got 3 attacks off.
Her new build does like 900 damage after a vault with that build. Its kinda insane.
