I recently tried running this build but went into the CDR bomb talent. You empower living bomb exclusively, and just machine gun spells, it's actually nuts. You don't need the mana trait talent either, since you're only empowering living bomb. Globes still matter to keep you topped up!
The full trait build is actually pretty good especially against enemies that dont group up a whole lot, or just to punish assasins like Illidan/Genji/Tracer when they are trying to gank you. The basic atk damage from KT comes off as unexpected and its surprisingly good at picking up kills.
The caveat with that build however, is that you are skipping your E talents at 4, making your E overally pretty basic and boring, which could limit your survivability and contribution to the team.
The upside of it is that you can get 19% spell power, making this the best buid for augmenting your ultimates. So having it on Phoenix can give u scary area control and PvE damage, while having extra 19% on Pyroblast is big as is. And with the ult upgrades at 20 which only make sense with this build, you are either Pyroblastin' everything down or throwing firebirds everywhere.
Overally its fun build. You can also opt out to skip 1 and 4 for Mana addict + any of the E talents at 4, which generally fills out the roles of Trait talents at 1 and 4 anyways - having mana and survivability. The only one advantage of having Double Tapped Fel Infusion + Mana tap instead of Mana addict is that Mana Addict barrier has like 40 second cooldown, where as with Fel Infusion you can continously heal over time, somewhat giving u better map presence rather than having to back to base.
Understandable why it would not be popular, since those are usually not things you want from a KT, but it's still valid build you can have success with.

Huh, notice how boss went for the tower at 15:58, and not the gate as you said. It almost killed it too, if you hadn't defended. Maybe the did fix it?
The aoe attack he talked about was triggered by them engaging the boss so it was on CD when it arrived at the gate.
@tranquilharmony6318 right. But wouldn't he still head for the gate if he works as usual? Wasn't that the issue, that he aims for the absolute center pixel of that gate, never being in reach of the towers?
I didn't think any build could look more fun than AA Tassadar. But this build looks frikkin cool.

Auto attack build compliments the living bomb build you did last time if you take double verdant spheres talent - also great picking fel infusion for the healing if you are not confident of finishing mana addict or have annoying low health characters on opposition - the auto attack dmg is not to be sneezed at. Been using auto attack Kael for years. Actually wouldn't surprise me if I was the entire 7% lol
fact that samuro can cleanse living bomb is just so sad
he should be able to switch out of it but not cleanse it

It's always nice when you see a Hammer keeping up in hero damage amongst the likes of Valla, Kael'thas and Gul'dan.
I think the reason you can't kill whitemane is that the damage she takes is less than her total hitpoints+healing. Next time, trying it where you deal MORE damage than that. Might help?
Pally, if you ever need to feel good about Whitemane, just invite me to play her against you. I can't wrap my head around her, and am always out of mana, and don't heal at all like every other WM.

Sam is broken; To completely cancel out all damage and debuffs every 6 seconds cancels out so many of the heroes damage.

Whitemane is just the most annoying healer to have to deal with if she is left alone and knows what she is doing. No CC, no real damage, but the healing spam she can spew out is just...uugghh.
Also your frontline diving so hard and leaving samuro free to do what he wants to your backline doesn't help matters.
Rag should've chose his other alt instead of lava wave. Stunning whitemane from her healing spam. Thus making more 5v5 go in favor of them. It only takes a few seconds for heroes to get eviscerated, besides tanks.
i could never get the hang of playing Whitemane, but yeah she's a great healer.
Auto Kael used to be a lot stronger. I went into a comp game with him against a bunch of squishies and a block build ETC. I had like 10K damage. My team questioned what my build was until I one shot their BW with pyro and just about one shot who they were next to. Thanks for covering one of my fave, obscure AF builds man.
You gotta play this build more ! You kinda got fucked by comp here XD this can really do so much to melee heavy teams ! And if you dont have heal in team, then the D heal w 2 charges is really good !
I'd also like to see another round where he's not insta-countered by the enemy comp. I feel like this didn't represent the build well. Also, the WM and Sam played their characters optimally.

Funnily enough, as someone who never jived with any of the mages in HotS, this build was by far my most successful attempt.

I think you should give it another try some time. Just, try to avoid the CC/cleanse/giga heal squad when doing it.
Interesting build! I'd be definitely interested in seeing you play this (or any other non-meta build) for a couple of games to see if you can the a better hang of it.

I had to watch the Samuro kill a few times to see what happened: he did swap right under your flamestrike but your siege giants already had a shot aimed at his clone and he swapped in before it landed. It was beautiful

Why not just kill what you can instead of going for other target? Especially with the 20 talent with Samuro you get your pyro pretty quickly. The engage at 19:48 by Diablo would have been perfect to nuke him but instead you backed up and died. Nuking Diablo would have allowed you to at least push back any maybe get some momentum.
I used this build partially when I played the game it was very successful for me atleast . You need to incorporate bomb into it with the bigger spread and infinite bomb spread at 20. Your goal is to trait W, Trait W, W and Q w/e you can. Your goal is to have more upkeep on bomb time with this and you can spam it more with the lvl 16 talent unlocking all of lvl7 talents. You should try it over with these tweeks and see what you get
a) you have a 3 second stun every 4 seconds, use THAT on Whitemain, you won't kill all healing but you'll cut it in half or better. Don't LEAD with the pyro. use it to assasinate half health targets. She can heal almost anything, but not a dead ragdoll.
As awful as Whitemane's saving ability is, Ana is actually a hard counter to her bullshit. Unfortunately your Ana went the complete wrong build here.
I think if it was updated to increase his auto-attack range significantly enough you would see this build more. I'm also thinking his E should just be longer range and speed by default.
W explosion radius talent is overlooked far too often. maps like blackhearts if your contesting boss or fighting over turnings it really catches teams offguard and can spread way more then normal. i usually take it over the CDR at this point if im not going mana addict for whatever reason since W + D + W is usually enough to get a few spreads

I actually really like the trait build. Certainly not the best one, but it's a whole different set of priorities for KT.

Samuro with bladestorm is probably when he's most vulnerable because they removed the unstop from that.
Im pretty sure Sun King's Fury used to increase Kaels autos against targets with his living bomb and it was so good they changed it. So if im remembering right there was a time where Auto attack Kaelthas was unironically the his good

The whole "desperation" thing with WM really describes her so well. If she can keep her cool, and be very calm and careful about what shes doing, her healing is inane. But if you can get her to panic a little, she crumbles real quick.
Tough match to get that to happen in though.
