Why are “The Dab” and “twerking” even mentioned for this? I was going to use this for educational purposes, as I'm in the process of using this for the classroom. However, I am teaching various folk traditional dances from many cultures. “Twerking” has roots in both Africa & the West Indies, as well as parts of Juba dance. So, not only is your opening statement false, it is also culturally tone deaf. #DoBetter
Bu Radley: How twerking was appropriated by American pop culture is completely disgusting. Miley Cyrus made it all sexualized and folks went with that. However, twerking is just synchronized hip action and footwork. That's quite a bit of finesse to it, depending on how it's used. I'm not even going there with “class” because I have a feeling that you are perfectly okay with Can-Can, Burlesque, and certain Latin ballroom dance styles.
Its not just exciting to know this nature.but to also know why they wear this attire.especially on their feet and ankles.these are so many Sacrad dances that if your true to its spirit these dances will rid all pain and suffering if you turn your body and soul over feel the emotion and allow your heart and spirit to guide you.

Greetings to you, My Indian Brothers! The heart is a very common symbol here too! HUN!
It's Native. Indian is a white man's word
Thank you for all your wonderful performances - we have been ignorant about - the costumes, the colors, the connections with the earth. I notice your dance is similar to the current Chinese dances - the same dna. Great to watch and learn about all the different nations - RICH and BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Many aren't shown or listed. Like grass,Prarie chicken, snoke, tomahawk, to name a few... for both men and women. But what you do list is so appreciated A'ho. With "open" pow wow the Dine' should be given all lesson in dance and why it is important

Nice looks like big eagles dancing
Love this you tube video
I am just a Mexican ... and I really want to go to see a pow-wow. I will check some near my college campus.
Wow I had very similar dream of the jingle dress
Impressive that colorful that beauty, that God bless all the indigenous peoples of the United States to their culture and traditions and that it is transmitted from generation to generation since these are the true North Americans a greeting.
The words should be a smaller font and not obscuring the dancers. The first sentence not necessary, just say they've been dancing for hundreds of years. Great footage of dancers (when you can see them).
Yes, Sr!!! absolutely agree
I am Navajo / Hopi on my fathers side, Brazilian on my mother’s . I am therefore a bit of a mixture but love any native cultures. Beautiful pow wow.
Hi there? Hope you're good and staying safe?
Much Love for the TRUE Americans of this land
So glad to be apart of the River Desert Ojibwa tribe.
Hello how are you doing ?
The first two captions had me immediately invested in the video lmao
Twerking comes from African culture. You can raise up one culture without putting another down.
Gorgeous enduring sacred culture. 🙏🏼❤️
Hello how are you doing?
Love the dresses with fringes.
This was cool. Always learns new things.
Wow this is great to know. Thanks for sharing
I'm native American we are fighters for our rights Dennis banks fought for our rights as a people
Same. I'll forever fight for my native brothers and sisters. What tribe are you?
What do you guys really want? What is the outcome you desire? What is the future you seek for your land and to take your people out of abject poverty out on the reservation? I'm confused.
NATIVE PRIDE =HEBREW PRIDE FOREVER ✊🏾💖😘🤗
I've always enjoyed photos and stories of 'Inidans' + their history of the past + photos. Many stories varied concerning that generation of American natives of the past. Most photos and stories + movie's of their pretended presence are always fascinating to me, even tho' most were not 'nice ones'.
So Amazing Beutiful. ...I wish to see this...one day. ...
I live in Europe ...I just love and belive in Healing music...best proof wos for me when I give birth to my baby ...such in back ground wos playing Indian drums....gift from friend...made that baby came out with out teribol pains ...just like fish....hard to explain if someone did not expirence such thing..

im so happy my nefews are Natives and they go to Pow Wow every year witb their Mom and they dance in the events. I tell them im proud of My Warrior's
#DoBetter
Tweeking is disgusting! It shows no class or finesse.
Bu Radley: How twerking was appropriated by American pop culture is completely disgusting. Miley Cyrus made it all sexualized and folks went with that. However, twerking is just synchronized hip action and footwork. That's quite a bit of finesse to it, depending on how it's used. I'm not even going there with “class” because I have a feeling that you are perfectly okay with Can-Can, Burlesque, and certain Latin ballroom dance styles.
thankyou. for sharing about the dancers it now brings it more interesting to me.
Hopefully one of these days I can come down and see on live the grass dance Israel 👍👍👍👍👍👍
What is the dates of this Amazing knowledge of dance with such of beautiful colorful and significant dresses plus the singing and the drums 🥁
Is so beautiful.
