Hi James its Mick from the 440 forum. This power arc does it work in conjunction with the existing CDI? are you saying it will be a replacement for the magnetic pickup?
Mick...yes it replaces everything..you dont need any cdi ...it comes with a coil and everything you need to start the bike...its a simple basic 7 wire hook up...i installed it and the bike fired right up
Custom made all the wiring...there's a fuse hub in the oil tank...battery leads provide power and ground and the each circuit goes to fuse and ground at the hub...all wiring inside through the frame
Im am not sure about the 305 platform...go to 7thgeardesigns.com and see contact information with questions...they may have something that works good luck

How many amps does it draw?
Not sure of exact specs but wiring diagram has 10a fuse...so less than 10
