I had this same back in black, a 1992 xj600 seca 2. My first street motorcycle. I spent a ton of money trying to weed out a naelectric cal grmlin that would kill ignition anytime it got a little wet. I eventually figured it out but sold it to my brother for 400 bucks and replaced it with a 2008 yzfr6. goodd times. I loved this bike.
Same I'm having a problem were when I click the starter it just clicks because something is getting stuck with whatever it spins but the starter works I know that for sure and the motor turns over
Hi Calvin, I always release the front sprocket nut before I remove the rear wheel as sometimes the nut can be stuck fast and leaving the wheel in place allows you to apply pressure to the rear brake allowing leverage and also takes stress off the gearbox shaft.👍 Xj6 sprockets 48/16 ratio 😜
I use to own a XJ550. Now a FZ6. I like watching maintenance videos seeing different ways to tackle job's previously done. 👍
Tip: change the chain last by hooking up the new to the old chain that has been broken open and running it through by pulling the old.
