I only found out about the old one because I was singing “bk, have it your way” and my mom asked me how I knew about that commercial and I told her that there were all these new Burger King commercials but she told me that it was a really old song

There is a different between the font from the remake logo and the original. The original font had more of a groovy look while the remake reused the font from the 1999 logo.
@@retroryan838Nope, they actually didn't use the font from the 1999 logo. The logo font is a readjusted version of the original to make it more square-ish and less "imperfect". The commercial itsellf uses a 70s styled font as well. I really like how they made a 70s branding look modern tbf.
The old version just screams better, it just has more of a charm to it to see a family get excited to eat some grub at BK while still having that "Have It Your Way" song. Plus, the woman listening to their orders while still singing that jingle just was that nice extra detail that beats the new version.
That was their motto because if you went to some place like McDonald's, they'd just say, "oh sorry well we don't do that here." That was why it was seen as so much better to go to Burger King in those years.

I used it and get a burger with no tomato on it even though I didn't take out the tomato. When I ask for my tomato slice the worker dead ahh tells me that I didn't order tomato as if I hadn't just gone through a list of every ingredient before finishing my order. Even if there was some mistake with their computer can't he just give me a damn tomato slice? I'm not asking for a new burger. I got of the road after driving for hours, finally coming by this place to eat wich wasn't even busy. Anyway I didn't particular like McDonalds to begin with and the burger sucked even when I got my tomato slice. It was my last time going to McDonalds. Coudln't help but leave this story here.
I personally like both of them. The old one is very wholesome because of how nice the workers are and it just feels good. The new one is actually catchy, sure the dude is just saying whopper a hundred times, but I personally think it’s still cool.

The entire old commercial was the point. This was back when McDonald's assembled and packaged entire burgers well before you entered the place so they could hand them to you the instant you ordered; additions or subtractions from the standard version meant you were either outright denied or asked to step aside from the line and wait for a whole new burger to be made.
