Schnauzer's HILARIOUS Reaction to Watching TV for the First Time

- Funny video of Scotty the Mini Schnauzer watching his own kind (another Miniature Schnauzer) on TV for the first time and his reaction is hilarious. I put on a TH-cam video of a puppy of the same breed that looks just like him and he was extremely interested. He got real close up to the TV. He actually followed the whole story and at times was concerned, intrigued, and even tense. It was like he was watching his favorite TV show. He was hooked!
Scotty is a rejected show dog. He came from a line of Show Miniature Schnauzers, but was rejected because of his imperfect features (wonky, uneven eyebrows).
Scotty is a funny, year old black and silver mini schnauzer who is also a rejected show dog.

Very cute video! We had a couple of schnauzers that were interested in TV. One of them loved to watch meercats, as well as dogs on TV. Great memories. Schnauzers are great dogs. Yours is adorable.

This is so funny my schnauzer used to go crazy at the TV when other dogs were on the screen. She would know commercials with dogs, if she was out of the room and heard the commercial with a dog on it she would come running into the room barking at the TV it was so fun watching her do this.
Aww that’s so funny that she used to do that. Sounds like a fun dog. It must be a Schnauzer thing to be more in-tuned with things. I have another dog (not a Schnauzer) who couldn’t care less about the tv!
The Travelers insurance commercial had this little white dog that would walk around where ever their umbrella was and as soon as she heard the music that accompanied the commercial she would stop what ever she was doing (even sleeping) and would run to the TV

I've been owned by five schnauzers.
My favorite dog however I love all dogs.
My current dog is a rescued American whippet. A breed that's known for their love of running fast and jumping high. This girl is super sweet. Rescues are the Best of friends. Yours look very happy.

My mom's pomeranian hadn't been for a car ride in a while due to my mom aging, so she asked me to give her a ride to Starbucks. On the way back I stopped for gas and she wouldn't allow me to get into the car. I had to call my mom to tell her to tell the dog on speaker to let me in. People were asking if that was my car because the dog wouldn't let me in. Someone called the police who asked to see my registration to verify that it was my car. I told the Officer it's in the glove box if you want to try and reach in there. She had already bit me twice. Gave him my ID that I had in my purse on me from paying for the gas so he could verify that I was wanted. Finally my Mom was able to get her dog to let me in the car and I was able to show the Officer the registration and ins. He looked at the dog on my lap giving me kisses and asked, "Why would you have a dog that bites you one minute and kissing you the next minute"?
She was just playing at protecting her car and she won so now she's just bragging and making sure there's no hard feelings. I don't think he understood.
Peaches had a crazy personality and wasn't my dog but I miss her antics. Dogs are so funny and their games can easily be mistaken for aggression by non dog people.
Schnauzers can play aggression/protection games too and try to claim things or spaces as a game. It's cute unless someone calls the cops. 🤣🤣🤣 I love dogs

All I ask is that you choose a recent video, anyone that has the logo & music intro (don't choose the Christmas video though since that song is copyrighted and it can't earn money) ... those videos are the best ones regarding all the editing techniques learned since the channel started. I have had schnauzers watch TV, especially dog shows , cows, and horses. Right now one of my schnauzers listens to the news and is embarrassing enough Trump.
Yes, there seems to be something about Schnauzers watching tv! I’ve had quite a few people comment this. They seem to be more intuitive with their surroundings! 😂 None of my other dogs ever cared about tv like this guy.
