Punk returns before mitb, DM cuts his own version of “the pipe bomb” where he talks about his contracts dispute and whatnot. DM retains at MITB against punk and blows the kiss and leaves through the crowd with the title. Zayn defends the title against people like nakamura, Miz, and someone (IDK I’m throwing names out) he defends the title until royal rumble where he is finally defeated by punk. But punks celebration is cut short by a returning McIntyre. They have a title vs title match in the main event of wrestlemania where punk wins.
Very creative but punk has much bigger plans next year at the wm main event. If you know you know but there was an interview on ESPN that absolutely was proof it was happening. It'll be one for the ages that we have always wanted and so have they. It's a huge match too.
@@chrisburch1853 I mean that all could just be a red herring, but again if you do that I’m not sure what could be a bigger main event for punk other than maybe cena in a retirement match or reigns.
@@ProjectBaby40 think much bigger. The most popular wrestler ever. You need to see his interview. When this man says he dissected everything in his last match and knows he can do so much better and is asked against who. He said I have someone in mind. Then the interviewer knew it right away. He said CM Punk and he said yes. We had a run in for a game a few years back but we couldn't work out the timing. It's punk's dream match. And many fans as well. It's very obvious now. In any event I put most everything he said. But you need to watch the ESPN interview when you figure it out. He is on the Rushmore. And he has several famous catch phrases but one in particular changed the ways people did promos forever. He also made the most money of all time. I can't pitch it any slower. Last hint; he sold the most merch for 20 straight years.
I wouldn't call punk the most popular star ever, I wouldn't even put him in the top 10. He's not even on the same level as wrestler like the Rock or stone cold, even Hulk Hogan, who I don't like personally. Punk's got one good thing He's promo skills, but in the ring, he's boring with very little talent. To be honest I can't see punk making next year's wm CM glass will most likely get a career ending injury before the next wm.
Actually im very happy for Drew with this situation of the cash in and the CM Punk beatdown for his story telling. What is a much better setup for him now, than with him as the champ. With an even higher pushed feud against Punk. I don't believe the WWE would had with him as champ a more interesting story for him to tell. And besides all kayfabe or past bad feelings... he really loves to work with cm punk and he helped very much for him inventing this new version of him... what also fits in to all reports of punk being a phantastic coworker in the planning of segments.. so I bet that even the loose of the title we will see with sticking with WWE.
Being able to have a full conversation and not break kayfabe is the sign of a true great . Not once did he break the story and made it as believable as you can make it. It’s not to far to say that Drew is WWE’s true secret weapon.
He’s always been good but these last three months he’s been GREAT! Absolutely on 🔥🔥🔥 He’s been killing it playing a heel. Hope to see him win that strap at Mania. He deserves it.
Drews scottish roots gives him brains and strategic thinking. You have to knowing well his culture and its proud history. The people at the top are liking this guy
The ONLY thing Drew is missing, is the Broken Dreams theme song. Bring it back, it's HIS SONG. Losing it made no sense. It would be like HBK losing his Sexy Boy theme song, or Undertaker losing the gong. Broken Dreams IS PERFECTLY FITTING to Drew.
I’m sure it will happen. And given Seth’s history with Punk and the probability Drew and Seth won’t be one and done at Wrestlemania, the feud could become a triple threat. Obviously that’s wishful thinking but one never knows what will happen.
Dude, Drew McIntyre basically taking the bull by the horns and going into a programme unironically as Vince's former Chosen One head to head with the anti-establishment icon who fully disrupted the system a decade ago; not only does the story write itself, but he ACTUALLY cares about investing the audience about it. This is such great shit.
Drew is keeping kayfabe so well right now that he is basically gaslighting people to say he's not a heel and has convinced himself/his character that he is a face 😂
The attitude era was special because everyone was on the same level. Austin Rock Taker Angle HHH Jericho Beniot etc they all were important and needed eachother and got eachother over in the storyline and in the ring. This is what HHH is doing now. All the factions and wrestlers need to be going against each other week in week out. The Netflix deal will be interesting because I think we have seen it go back to a more gritty real big time match and long storylines. WWE is on fire right now and vince is gone

Drew is nailing it!
Being able to have a full conversation and not break kayfabe is the sign of a true great . Not once did he break the story and made it as believable as you can make it. It’s not to far to say that Drew is WWE’s true secret weapon.
I do agree with Drew's chops, when him and Gunther had their match, Drew's were way louder
Brilliant character work.
Drew talks so much sense 👍
Glad this came up in my algorithm
Boiii i was nervous he was leaving to AEW, this man is a gem im glad he’s payed 😂🤞🏾
He’s always been good but these last three months he’s been GREAT! Absolutely on 🔥🔥🔥 He’s been killing it playing a heel. Hope to see him win that strap at Mania. He deserves it.
Does he have DM Hunk merch, that is genius
Drews scottish roots gives him brains and strategic thinking. You have to knowing well his culture and its proud history. The people at the top are liking this guy
Drew is my favorite face in WWE .
Kevin Owen's perforated his ear. There was a big commotion about it back stage I had read somewhere.
Did you not watch the same thing everyone else did? He literally said logan paul. Jeesh
@petepeters6879 Okay, I hadn't heard either way. So, exactly who and where? I don't recall Drew fighting Logan.
This was amazing
He is on his character ❤❤❤
i prayed for this
DM Hunk back at it again 😂😂😂
Absolute legend🤣
Drew was the only guy from Raw in the camber match. He is right. Only people on Raw deserve a shot at the world title.
At this Point... Drew Definitely should win the World Title from Seth... What a Heel Persona he is playing man...❤️❤️
He's not a heel 😉😏😂
The ONLY thing Drew is missing, is the Broken Dreams theme song. Bring it back, it's HIS SONG. Losing it made no sense. It would be like HBK losing his Sexy Boy theme song, or Undertaker losing the gong. Broken Dreams IS PERFECTLY FITTING to Drew.
CM Punk is bringing the best out of Drew hope Drew appreciates it I really do.😊
Drew is a G always been a fan, expect the Three-man band, but been a crazy career, the last 15yrs
I shook CM Punk's hand last week and he is one of the most genuine people you could ever hope to meet 🤣
The fact that he’s a cat dad makes me like him even more!
Drew basically said his resigned if he’s talking bout facing punk at SS
They might might face each other a couple times probably at payback and crown jewel as well
Drew is the best thing on Raw
We need a Drew and Punk feud
I’m sure it will happen. And given Seth’s history with Punk and the probability Drew and Seth won’t be one and done at Wrestlemania, the feud could become a triple threat. Obviously that’s wishful thinking but one never knows what will happen.
Drew is a perfect example of doing kayfabe right in the modern world
God I love Drew
Dude, Drew McIntyre basically taking the bull by the horns and going into a programme unironically as Vince's former Chosen One head to head with the anti-establishment icon who fully disrupted the system a decade ago; not only does the story write itself, but he ACTUALLY cares about investing the audience about it.
This is such great shit.
Drew is keeping kayfabe so well right now that he is basically gaslighting people to say he's not a heel and has convinced himself/his character that he is a face 😂
I mean he aint wrong he is justified in his actions
I can't take him seriously after that last loss to Roman... He hit his peak already
❤ Drew McIntyre
Drew the truth mcintyre 🙏🏾🙏🏾
D.M. Hunk! D.M. Hunk! D.M. Hunk!
Big up, Drew
Idk if Drew is still in character or he is being real ( which means he is so good) 😅❤
The attitude era was special because everyone was on the same level.
14:20 feud of the summer
