I have always wanted to visit Japan but since I not a big fan of crowded places like Tokyo. After looking at this blog I definitely want to visit Izumo! It feels like dream, especially the temples, forests and the shrine on the beach is a sight to be witnessed in real life.

At 3:00, I think I understand it. It's like being in the moment, sensing & experiencing without distractions. It's why I often take few or no pictures of places I visit. That activity gets in the way of simply being there & feeling the ambience.
If Emma is about to get a boyfriend, there's a very lucky chap wandering around somewhere right now.
I so agree. I need to be in temples, shrines and gardens by myself. Experience is just surreal by yourself.
Those scenery shot are gorgeous. Your travel vlogs and cooking vlogs are always my favorites. Basically food and a nice view is the way to my heart lol

出雲大社 has something to do with many mystical Japanese old story base, and actually it can say that place is hidden and very important place for Japanese spirit more than 伊勢神宮. You visited good place. I've never been there but I think I want to there someday.

If you guys are looking for a fun experience, take the Sunrise Izumo train. It's one of 2 overnight trains still running in Japan. It departs Tokyo station at 10 pm and arrives at Izumo station at 9:58 am the following morning.
